You can probably create water droplets with the initial fluid settings. Make a couple small spheres and keyframe them to interact with the standing water to get some ripple effect. Turn on motion blur and the small spheres would look like rain drops, but this is all in my head and I haven't tested it yet lol
wow, I've been wanting this type of fluid sim for 10 years now, 3ds max never reached it, nothing ever did.. simple, look ok, super reactive, super easy to set up.. no wander I accidentaly purchased it twice
Have you tried flip fluids? Was curious as I was also looking into cell fluids but just curious if you managed to try em both and what one would you pick of the two? Regardless thanks for your upload man!
Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about Cell Fluids in the comments below! :)
Very cool. In order to have it play nicely with physics, couldn't you bake the sim as keyframes and use that to get around the problem?
This is definitely cool, I wonder if there's a way to set up a large ocean scene with this add-on? Or hopefully there will be in the future!
Awesome add on. Thanks for the additional info 👍🔥👌

I almost wish I did need this for something, it's so cool.
you need it so you can play with the splashes :) it's cool
Can you add a dummy object (invisible) to serve as your collider, so you can drop things?
I think you can simulate Rigid Body and then bake movements it to keyframes

Is it able to bake this fluid animation?
Do you know if there is any way to make objects float on the water?
Cool! Is this add-on able to simulate gases as well as liquids? Or do you know any add- on can do simulations like this, but with gases?
smoke animation card will get you half way there
this addon makes the waterfall eevee addon pale in significance
so goood
🥰😇
