A kind viewer pointed out that I called the Queen Victoria building the Queen Anne building. Complete brain fade. My apologies, and grateful for the correction.

We do not refer to ourselves as "ANZACS" ... LOL

Several folks we talked to said this so we took it to be fact.

@@TheKoalaMamaTravelsAnzac is a name that applied only to Aussie soldiers and not the general public, so I think the people you spoke to didn't explain it clearly. Im glad you appreciated the war memorial in Sydney however.

A carillon is NOT electronic, it IS a set of bells.

Thanks for the correction. You can have an electronic carillon, which is what I'm familiar with, but it is not electronic by definition.

Thanks. Someone else also pointed this out. Do wish I could go back and change that...

To add - I think you meant the Queen Victoria Building, not Queen Anne

YES! OMG you are so right! Huge statue of Queen Victoria at the front and everything. I think I need to stop editing at 2 am! Thanks for pointing it out.

You must go to the Melbourne War Memorial

Thanks for the tip! We were disappointed that we didn't make it to Melbourne but it's a must visit on our next trip and we'll be sure to check out the War Memorial there. 🐨💗

Has this been filmed with an old low quality, film movie camera? Or is the lens just filthy?

Driving into the city centre is something to be avoided - nerve-wracking is an understatement. I've not done it for decades and would avoid it into the future. It would be even worse had we been finding our way as you were. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.

We enjoyed EVERYTHING except that drive in Sydney! I spent a lot of time planning the details of the trip but not ditching the rental car at the Sydney airport was a major fail. A saving grace was that I'd been driving for several days so was getting used to driving on the left. If it had been my first day driving I would have had a nervous breakdown! Thanks for watching 🐨

@@TheKoalaMamaTravels I can understand that - we have the same experience in visiting the US, Canada and mainland Europe, for example. The first time for me was horrific . Fortunately in Zurich, where things are rather easier than in Paris, but things got easier with experience. I've even driven in Rome and Paris, both homes for interesting drivers.
