How fun to test a cute pattern! I know EXACTLY that feeling; it’s so exciting, EVERY TIME, when I get that message, you know? I need to send you a pic…my lil cassowary has a pink Santa hat now! It’s darling 😊 I hope to make the Forest Guardian, soon, too. Also, have Hugo and Anchor in my cart; we seem to be on the same “make” schedule! Lol After the holidays, maybe we can truly try to do a “swap box” of local-to-us yarns…I like mill ends, too, which that has potential as a swap idea as well…hmmm…we’ll have to chat 😉. Winding down in my Friday now. Sending you some of this SO COLD (& snowy) weather 🥶 😉🧡😊 xx
Omg Christmas cassowary 🥹🥹🥹 definitely let's organise a yarn swap in the new year that would be so fun!!! Hugo is 100% worth it, I already want to make another one (I used baby Hugo! I bought the bundle 😌)
I'm curious on how people store patterns too. Currently they are just downloaded on my phone and I really need to find a better option. I need to put this on my list of things to do in the new year, organise patterns.
Have downloaded so many great patterns over the years and all are saved on my apple cloud in a craft file with many individual folders and sub folders so that I can easily find things. Only way that works for me 🤣
I currently store my on Google Drive with one folder for the type of pattern and and my amigurumi folder I then have sub folders by designer. I’m thinking of creating a spreadsheet so I can categorise the patterns, to make it easier to find one that I’m looking for.
Ooh designer sub folders is smart!!! I was thinking of adding animal sub folders to my amigurumi section like sea animals, farm animals, domestic animals, etc. I fear I wouldn't always remember the designers haha.
Hugo is looking so good! Would love to see you making the eyes! ❤
Ask and you shall receive 😘😘
It's only too much yarn if it stresses you out! 😄
Hahaha the only right answer!

Even just making the Google drive made me feel on top of it hehe, though clearly I forget to add every pattern!
OMG - I love your sprout! Thank you for testing; I’m very impressed with how quickly you finished him! 🌱
I can't wait to make another one!! 🌱🌱
Never enough yarn, Mel! 😁😁
You're right, what was I thinking!
Hugo and the sprout look gorgeous! I'll have to get those patterns. Also wanted to make safety eyes after watching Kelsea's video haha
She is an icon and influencer for sure hehe. Yessss keep an eye out for the sprout it's really quick and cute!!!

My drive is similar! Though the folders don't go that deep 🤭
Would love to see you paint those eyes :D
I think it will have to happen this vlogmas!!
Start making stock for the march market? Loaf cats and chickens!
I’ve also been looking at making a scrappy Anchor 😍
Ohhh a scrappy anchor would be VERY cute, maybe I need to save some scrappy bits for that!
