I will never get over rick as a character, he quite literally lived like 20 different lives, the amount of crazy things he’s endured, the people he’s encountered, the people he’s lost.. it’s crazy. I believe he’s completed his arc, he lost a lot and rebuilt and found his purpose again, reunited with his family. Think back at where he started and where he reached, it’s CRAZY. Truly one of the best characters and leaders on TV imo.
I have a feeling in the end they will go with the comics and kill him......im seeing it slowly rise as all the characters soon will be reunited... it's a matter of when and then it's a matter of least expecting it I mean think if they really weren't gonna kill him in the end wouldn't they have like given him a different arc I mean fuck....towl with him cutting his hand off it's almost getting closer to the comics for a reason...he now has no arm just like in the comics...
I'm still fucking amazed and disgusted by the fact that he never won an oscar for his role. the amount of character development, emotion, the different things he experienced.. he sure as hell deserves one. one of the best and most dedicated actors in tv, to act as a character for 10+ years and still keep the same god tier acting even in the newest spin-off, one of the best characters in tv ever.
Rick is the fiction himself, I've been watching this whole verse since 2010 when it was first released, i remember waiting with excitement to watch the next episode, 14 years later, now being 19, i still watch rick, and it brings my such nostalgia, best fiction character ever, nice edit 💪
Rick Grimes is by far a legendary apocalyptic survivor. Rick has been through and endured so much. Everything he's fought for and lost throughout the seasons. Nobody ever came close to Rick's level of power. The character, Rick Grimes, is synonymous with the Walking Dead. There will never be another protagonist for the Walking Dead Universe that's as incredible as he is.
Rick is not just the guy the group needs he is someone WE ALL need and yes in this world in this fucking lost controlled and shit world not just in a zombie apocolypse because we are in an apocolypse

Specifically the blood streak from Glenn on his face. That was the mark of the truly broken and lost rick. After that he wasn't the same, he wasn't arrogant and i feel like he was less of a badass. Besides him cutting off his hand.

Prime Rick Grimes was several levels above everyone else. It's a pity that the best zombie series eventually turned into a hack. Even spin-offs don't save the series. I think spin-offs only spoil everything. For me, the original series ended exactly where the crooked writers decided to kill Carl. I couldn't bring myself to look any further.
