That's a good machine and a heavy machine. Good for compaction. Your videos keep getting better and better. 💪✌️

Probably the first time I've seen a wheel dozer doing anyting at all

Either you live under a rock, or you haven’t been to a surface mine

When I saw this machine, I thought that the front bucket was added later. However, it was manufactured that way in the factory.

It’s interesting isn’t it? The blade arms are attached completely differently than a loader bucket. Definitely more of a dozer than a loader, as there’s a blade not a bucket.

Wheeled dozers are not something I see much of out here. What is the benefit of using one versus a tracked dozer?

The wheel dozers mainly level off the dirt that the scrapers drop off and the main benefit is it's more maneuverable.

They're in charge of the fill and they mix the material and help compact fill and build according to the stakes. Much faster and more efficient then a track dozer in the same scenario

      @@tannermontana93 Makes sense, thanks.

Much faster at knocking down windrows and compacting.

@@HeavyMachinesinAction Admittedly, ive never worked around this type of equipment but it just seems like you could do the same thing with a normal front end loader and you'd still have the option of being able to load trucks.
