Big Mistake with Air Filter

Please don't do what I did by neglecting to check your car's or truck's air filter. My truck started to stumble and bog down at medium to high speeds. I looked at the air filter first and found it to be very dirty to the point of reducing the performance and most certainly fuel efficiency. My truck has a vacuum indicator on the top of my air filter canister that I should have checked sooner for the life left on the air filter....my bad. It is easy to pop open the air filter canister and visually check on filter's condition. There is no hack or trick to this much needed maintenance task other than "Just Do It". It's free and easy to make this a monthly habit.
