Exactly! So much time and effort can be saved just by planning out the design of your parts with a focus on your design intent. This feature would've saved me so much time when I was designing electromechanical systems that had a bunch of wire harnesses and connectors. That's why I went with this example with these Molex connectors. This feature would also work well with cylindrical/locking connectors (commonly used in automotive, aviation, etc.) like Amphenol, Deutsch, etc.

For whatever reason UCS simply refuses to snap to my grid and point.

why wont my ucs snap to the point? Inventor is literally dog shit to me at this point, no pun intended
