    I see these things popping up everywhere in the NW - In Red Lake people have them in their garages just like you guys did, heck, Franklin remotely starts his from upstairs in his house to heat his wifes small garage up before she heads to work in the car.
    Lots of versatility with these & I find Diesel is a bit easier to work with compared to Gasoline - Overall less "explosive" concerns at least LOL
    Total game changer for you guys!

    what i did with my heater was put it in a box thats reasonably sealed. then i have 2 holes for the vent pipes. then i can run a return into my shack. heater stays outside and still recirculates the air. just a idea.

    You should wrap you exhaust with exhaust wrap (the kind for motorcycle/automotive exhaust) so it won't melt your tent.

    Great videos. Just wondering how much diesel you used at what setting you had it on to achieve 20 •c in the tent.

      We burnt 7 litres in 27hrs. During the night it was pumping at 3hz. It runs from 1.7-5.4hz. So I’d say medium heat.

    I see you had a 200amp/hr battery I wonder if 100 Amp/hr battery would work enough for couple nights?

    • @chasenashleyoutdoors7632
      @chasenashleyoutdoors7632  Год назад +1

      Thanks for watching! We ran the 200 amp/hr for 7.5 days in the garage on various heat settings before the heater shut off . Hope that helps

      @beyondupnorth 9 месяцев назад +2

      Draw is 11 or12 amps for a couple mins at startup and cool down. 2 to3 amps whi.e running, 100ah should get 33 to 50 hours or runtime depending on how high you set the heater.
