One of my favorite things to do is watch his interactions with troubled souls and see in action…the Holy Spirit prick the heart.
It’s truly amazing.
And listen…I had never even heard of “Calvinism” and I realize it’s controversial for many…but from where I’m sitting to see person after person hear the exact same message and respond in totally opposite ways ….for me….it is PROOF that Our Lord chooses…calls…elects…whom He wills.
And I will be ETERNALLY grateful He chose me. 🥹♥️

We do not increase in love until we recognize our fear because we can think fear of God or our parents is love. It's not.

I drove Ray to the airport once, it was a 2 hour trip. He is such a sweet and genuine person, and an evangelism machine.

@@canaja37 I told Ray that when he gets people to admit that they have lied, stolen and had lustful thoughts that makes them liars, thieves and adulterers. I told him that is judgement , which Jesus told us not to do and making errors doesn't make a person an evil sinner.
He presses this point until people sometimes break down and he thinks that is his job as an evangelist. .

I love how you had him on for an interview as a response to him criticizing your Elon Musk interview. It's a very humble response to do so, and shows that you are willing to admit to being wrong.
To the contrary - admitting to being wrong is the only biblical response to being wrong. These Babylonians did no such thing. In fact if you bother study what they were saying, and what they have written down and detailed in all of this, they assume that they faithfully presented the gospel. (Perhaps only the human gospel).
In actuality they made no public admitting of their wrongdoing. They even acted deceitfully and with partiality when you compare the two interviews side by side, of both Elon Musk and Ray Comfort.
But did the Bee guys make some kind of statement admitting that that was not the right way to go about it? Or put the matter right with Elon - after all they put him on the spot in a most embarrassing way?

@@honibear No, they made no specific statement. It is just something I was speculating on, based on them doing the interview after the constructive criticism. I speculate that they talked specifically about that off camera, but wanted to keep the interview focused on the general topic of evangelization. They are comedians, not theologians after all. By having Ray Comfort come on the show to teach people how to evangelize better, it was a humble way of saying that they could learn something from him.
@@jeremiahyeo5863 What standard do you use to determine that something is the only biblical way to do something? When I read the bible, it tends to show a variety of ways of doing things from the diversity of patriarchs, prophets, and saints. There are things set in stone, such as the moral law. Do you consider any Christian who is not as good as you a babylonian? If not, how do you determine that? Personally, I have always thought that pagans were those who practice paganism rather than Christians who make a mistake.
I'm also not sure why you would be in the comment section of a video of people you consider to be Babylonians.
May this video encourage Christians to be bold and to share the gospel with everyone they meet. Time is so short. Amen.

@@statutesofthelord see Hebrews 4 (if you're reading KJV vs 8 is actually Joshua, not Jesus, same name translation isn't incorrect, but wrong in that context.) Colossians 2. Christ is our Sabbath, he is our rest. See what Paul had to say to the Judizers in Galatians 5:12 who try to put the yoke of the fulfilled law on those Christians. Without resting in Christ you will be condemned the same way the Jews were who didn't rest on the sixth day.

My pastor preaches the Gospel every....single....Sunday morning......and I NEVER get tired of hearing it ! Because truth is.....even Christians need to hear the Gospel and often....and we need to study it continually because our fallen, corrupted minds and hearts forget daily. Stay in the Word....and never think you've got the Gospel all figured out that you can set it aside and move on to something.....more interesting.....because when you have a mindset like that....it means you've forgotten the Gospel and need to go back and look at it again ! Yes, best comment here. Well said. We assume too much if we think the congregation remembers the explicit Gospel message and how to vocalize/share it. The Gospel needs to be preached to us everyday or we will forget or we'll say something untrue about it.
Great that he does that! I was saved immediately after a Sunday morning service when an invitation was given and I went forward. I was actually given the gospel from Isaiah 53 about 1 week earlier and went to the church of the man who had witnessed to me of my own volition. God had really been working in my heart for months prior and that witness the prior week really brought me under deep conviction since the Holy Spirit was at work in my life. That man led me in prayer to receive Christ as my Savior and DURING that prayer God saved me and I've known this for absolute certainty since April 03, 1977. I am opposed to those who think you cannot lead others in prayer and even against invitations in church. You just NEVER know what is going on in a person's life and how God is dealing with them. I had virtually NO EMOTION whatsoever when I went forward, but I had an overwhelming sense of peace and joy when I left that day. Btw, I was a total agnostic just days before this happened and wasn't even sure if God existed or if we really did evolve from lower life forms!!!
The gospel message is important, but if that's all you're hearing, you aren't growing in the word. Your faith will be shallow. It's important for a pastor to preach the Bible verse by verse, ignoring nothing.

Ray Comfort is a sincere Christian passionate about the Gospel.
He is a fraud who purposefully refuses to understand concepts that may in any way contradict his very specific interpretation of a compilation of semi-unrelated texts.
In every debate, complex concepts are explained to him, and he immediately pretends not to understand it; deflecting and obfuscating the entire way.

The problem with that method of interviewing people is that a given documentarian can easily manipulate the conversations in post production, and omit good responses from random street walkers while splicing in the lowest hanging fruit from people who seem to be a couple fries short of a happy meal (something Comfort and the mainstream media do often).

You say the Spirit can determine your motives - indeed so. As can the Bible, the inspired word from the Holy Spirit, which is God breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousess 2 tim 3:16-17. The verbaitum repeated comments seem more of slander due to the obsessiveness and nature of the comment. Slander, is not becoming of us (Eph 4:32).

Honestly...as soon as I saw the ending of the interview I was like I'd love to see Ray and the guys talk about this!!
When you ask someone to give you a solid, you're asking someone to give YOU something. On the other hand Ray actually gives someone what they need. I recommend the Bee try Ray's approach, it works because people are more likely to listen when it's their own responses they're hearing. Like Ray I focus on the proclamation, the results are God's work

Ray was exuding enough humility for all three of them. I didn’t observe the fruit of humility coming from the Babylon bee nary a single time.
I remember Ray Confort from Christchurch and he used to have a christian book store in New Brighton. And now Im 56yrs old and hes in America WOW. Hi Ray Hope your well. He wrote the book My Friends are Dying. I just got to Christchurch from living on the streets in Auckland and saw this huge fight happening in the city Cathedral Square and everyone was taking pictures. Then an Axe was produced and someone hit with it. Wow Ray Comfort.

He is fair, balanced, and asks good questions. He is prompted by the Spirit of God to lovingly and graciously share the good news of Jesus Christ with anyone willing to listen.

When he is given an elaborate and detailed answer to one of his inquiries, if it does not fit his particular narrative of reality, he immediately rejects it without any follow up whatsoever. A wonderful example of this was when he interviewed physicist Lawrence Krause who succinctly explained to him how snowflakes form naturally, and their formation does not require a deity as an explanation.

This is a Charles Darwin quote that Ray Comfort and more prominent apologists such as William Lane Craig routinely wheel out:
“To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.”
This quote is supposed to be a deathknell to the entire field of evolutionary biology, but there is an important section deliberately omitted by apologists. I will now share the entire quote with you.

How a nerve comes to be sensitive to light, hardly concerns us more than how life itself originated; but I may remark that, as some of the lowest organisms, in which nerves cannot be detected, are capable of perceiving light, it does not seem impossible that certain sensitive elements in their sarcode should become aggregated and developed into nerves, endowed with this special sensibility.”
Notice how the entirety of the quote completely changes the context of the excerpt so frequently shared by apologists and Young Earth Creationists. We see this same tactic employed by BLM and Antifa who selectively quote mine Martin Luther King to try and justify their extreme behavior. This indicates either intellectual laziness or intellectual dishonesty on the part of Comfort and Cameron (as well as every other apologist who peddles out the selectively edited quote even after having been corrected in previous engagements).

People make mistakes, and if we analyzed our own words, we would find errors in our speech. But his motivation is to honor the Lord and fulfill the great commission of making disciples of all nations and teaching everything that Jesus Christ commanded.

The Apostle Paul said that some preach Christ out of envy and strife, some from good will, others preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely and some preach Christ out of love. In all these things however, he said that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, *Christ is preached* and in that fact he will rejoices. What was true in Paul's day is true today. I will rejoice that the gospel is preached. (Philippians 1/15)

People seem to either really like Ray or really hate Ray which means he must be doing the gospel correctly. I will say after listening to him for an hour he becomes a broken record but that’s why he’s a master at his craft.
It's always new to the unreached unbeliever, that's why we have to put that sensation of triteness aside .

@Zed Kenny 1. We’re commanded to love everyone. 2. He’s a beloved brother in Christ who sincerely and diligently shared the Gospel with others. 3. He’s inspired many other believers, including myself, to be more courageous about sharing the Gospel with others. There’s other reasons. As to your assertion that he’s “awful”.. well you have me there. And so am I. And so are you. That’s why God’s love for us in giving Jesus is so amazing. We humans are awful. Sinful, worthy of the reward for our awfulness. But Jesus received the judgment and justice against our sin when He died, then vanquished the power of death when He rose. Now He redeems the awful when they humble themselves and repent and trust in Him. Awfulness counteracted with love and beauty. Grace and peace to you.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I disagree with what Ray said about a pastor sharing the gospel to their congregation. The gospel is important for the sake of those who aren't saved so they can hear it, but I question the salvation of those that get tired of hearing the gospel be preached weekly. The gospel isn't just for the unsaved, but also for the saved as it reminds us what God did for us. Frankly, a weekly reminder often isn't even enough. I need to remind my stupid self daily.

Agreed. I wouldn't darken the door of a church that didn't preach the gospel. I was saved myself back in 1977 at the end of a Sunday morning service when an invitation was given and someone took their Bible and showed me how to be saved. All I can say is this many years later I know for certain I went in that church a lost, hell bound sinner and came out a child of God with the peace of God that passeth all understanding in my heart. Many, many believers will never be bold enough to do street preaching, but anyone, ANYONE, can invite someone to church where they most definitely SHOULD hear the gospel. A church that fails to do that is just playing like they're Christians and they are what is called in Revelation, LUKEWARM.
@@randyd9805 Agreed. Sometimes it's not "one and done" and we need to hear it again at different times in our lives. My preacher growing up would do an alter call after every sermon, just standing by himself most Sundays because no one walked down as most were already saved. As a kid I always felt sad for him when that happened, but as an adult I understand why he did it every time and respect him standing alone waiting for the possible one out of the 99. RIP Brother Graves.
