I needed this lesson for an Easter Sunday pick me up. I'm agnostic and went with my wife to a dying church's service. Very depressing. I always loved this song!
i love this song Lauren !!!! at some stage i am going to learn how to play this song ! i am also going to learn how to play the simple lead guitar melody on the intro along with doing some arpegios for this song and i am also going to learn how to do a piano solo for the middle of the song too ! (which will sound alot like the original lead guitar solo but on the piano instead ) :) By the Lauren you sound great when singing this song ! suits your voice well ! :)
Listening this song on the dawn I end up here, what a surprise!!! Your voice it's so great and the teaching, uow....keep rocking and sorry for the english, I'm a brazillian
Thank you, Richard for the recommendation. I get lots of song requests so I cannot guarantee that I will get to it, but I will definitely add it to my list.
I have both electric and accustic by keep swapping between them is that why im not getting on with progress please help as im getting really frustrated thanks colin❤
Lauren Bateman Hi maam can you please do an easy guitar tutorial of Skyline Pigeon by Elton John. My dad will be celebrating his 57th birthday this friday. I would like to sing that song for him because that is his favorite song.
Fantastic...picked it up quite quickly with your guidance. Still a bit slow on chord change 2 to a bar, but getting there. What is the bpm for this song? and Is it still a 4/4 or rather a 6/8? Still trying to understand theory...lol
Okie Dokie, Em C, G and D, The C to the 7th, Dm,,,major let's go nuts!! 3 to the4th, square root of PI, let it all hang out!! Then the Beatoveven chon certo...why the F' not?,,, Em C, G and D. ...KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid....)

Great lesson,Lauren! Those 16th notes add so much flavor to songs! 🎵 I use them all the time!
They really do. Very common strumming pattern that can be used on a lot of songs.
Really great. Thank you
You are welcome!
Awesome! I like how you kept it simple 👍
