Plus a 5.0 Supercharged Range Rover behind and Discovery behind that - oh and the 4 BMW SEG bikes - not altogether sure that the Audi E-tron makes a huge difference :-/

it's making a point though, and police fleets are starting to become all electric now anyways, there isn't any point scraping a perfectly good range rover just to replace it

While it’s good they have an electric car - it’s a bit questionable that all the vehicles and bikes surrounding them for security are fossil fuelled (at the moment)!
all old parts of the fleet, come 2025 ish i reckon they will all be electric. Its less environmentally friendly to scrap a perfectly good range rover and replace it than just run it a few more years on diesel.
They are optimists the royal family big on the environment

Because it’s not bullet proof the Range Rover must come along. Just saying... the world must wake up to the reality of technological limitations while appreciating innovations.. so it’s a nice idea but nothing has been done for the environment as he now has an empty bulletproof Range Rover with two bodyguards in it... “Just in case”...

Iirc the Audis used by the Royal family are loaned or leased to them by Audi for a minimal amount. And the Range Rover Sentinel following the Audi is worth ALOT more.
We pay for all the police plus their cars and bikes, then there's fire engines and ambulances should we not fund them either. Besides which Prince Charles pays his own bills it doesn't come out of your pocket unless he's your landlord.
