Everyone gets jumpy at plate tracks (Daytona & Talladega) because it's a literal crap shoot at the end. Add in it being the last race to get into the Chase & you get a lot of tension & drama. ANYONE can win at a plate track if you are in the right place at the right time or if you make it thru the big one in the right place. The wildest finishes are typically at Daytona & Talladega.

Back in the day my family had a Saturn SL2 with those automatic seatbelts but somthing was wrong with the motors that ran them, they would go too fast! those things would whip you into the seat sometimes lmao
