- In this video, I discuss regarding types of chemoreceptors, their locations, structure of peripheral chemoreceptors.
Mechanism of stimulation of both peripheral and central chemoreceptors.
How chemoreceptors bring back the levels of pO2 and pCO2 back to normal.

Sir you make the best physiology videos..great thanks to you.. please make videos on more topics it would be super helpful😍😍.. and there is something wrong with the youtube algorithm cuz your videos dont show up when we search.. please do something about that.. as these are gonna help so many students❤️🔥
I've seen a lot of videos on this topic and neural control of respiration with the same info as in this video but it is the mmooooóssssssstttt organised and well articulated video that cleared all my queries...

Did you ever imagine the presence of pulmonary parenchymal oxygen receptors?
Sensing environmental oxygen?
Your illustrious presentations are excellent to the current standards 🎉 keep going

Thank you Sir.

Thank you sir❤❤❤
Thank you!!!!! 💐🎉🎉
TQ for ur appreciation
Thank you
At 17:21 you said that peripheral chemoreceptors bring back pco2 to normal level but actually they bring back po2 to normal level
@@Dr.Raghu-simplified_classes no sir you were speaking about peripheral chemoreceptors
Like you were telling about what happens at peripheral & central chemoreceptors
@@Srishu-jr4lp ya ya it should be pO2 ...Thanks for pointing it out
Unfortunately the peripheral chemoreceptors don't restore pO². Hypocapnic hypoxemic respiratory failure would not have occurred in covid related respiratory failure.
There are wide gaps in respiratory physiology 😢
Sir u r the best lecture❤

Super sir👏💯
Thank you 🙂
Thank you very much sir
Thank you 😊

Explained well Sir
Sir please do make videos on micturation reflex ,gfr and all of your videos are just awesome for last min revision and better understanding!
Thanks a lot....sure more is coming
Can you throw light on how these central and peripheral chemo receptors are effected in COPD ?? in chronic and acute state.
Please in urdu
