Well, dang, noticed phasing issue when listening in mono. Just plain forgot to edit the left and right channel to account for mic distance. Will reupload later.
Wish I knew, I emailed asking what was the most modern, brutal amp they make and he said Leviathan, AH or Gargoyle. No mention of Chupacabra surprisingly.
@@1980hardhitter -I received unclear answers as well. I did order a Molecular, which should be shipping soon. I'm thinking I should have ordered the Leviathan instead, as I now think it's the most brutal. Surprisingly the Chupacabra was not mentioned, or the Molecular.

Hey man, thanks for taking the time to review the AH50. I'm considering getting one (I can't afford a Friedman haha). Would you still recommend the AH50 today? I play in hard rock and metal tribute bands (Iron Maiden, Danzig, Slayer, etc...). Thanks!

sounds good. Too bass heavy for my taste, but sounds good. we tend to load up bass to make up for no bass player, which in this case to me takes away from the tone. Anyone know how these amps seem to do reliability wise? Some of these prices for 100 watt amps with how good these sound almost seems to good to be true
It's my live amp and it has been extraordinarily reliable! Ceriatone really is as good as they say. The only complaints I've heard are that in the long term it's worth upgrading the transformers, but that may not be the case anymore since those complaints are usually on threads 5 years old or more. If you buy, go through GuitarAmpsUSA which is the US importer. If you order direct from Ceriatone you have to pay all sorts of import taxes. The benefit of ordering through Ceriatone directly is that you can still order the amps as kits to assemble yourself, whereas GuitarAmpsUSA only sells finished amps.
@@obsessedwithguitars3157 I'm obsessed with Mastodon and have been looking at Freidmans for a while, but they've always been out of my price range. I may have to order one of these sometime. Thanks for that bit about GuitarAmpsUSA, I didn't even think about taxes and getting it through customs.

0:29 Those knocks sound so incredibly real through my headphones, had me get up off my chair and look around
That knocking had me freaking out with headphones on, thinking someone was knocking from my bathroom
Hahaha dude me too!
I'm glad we could share that
Ceriatone= cherry-a-tone (from Nik himself)
as a Malay speaker, it's actually "Cher (like teacher)" "Ria (Ree-ah)" - Tone

I wonder how the AH compares to the Chupacabra, all other variables the same.

So nice that you typed out the songs your playing. So annoying when people play a riff and I canät figure out where it's from
