It's pretty nuts, but the best part is the distortion is usable throughout the entire range of the knob. I had a Peavey 5150 that was as high gain but completely uncontrollable. This thing is perfectly harnessed. It's brutal, but never feels like it's going to go so over the top that it'll become a feedbacky mess.
checking this out because im figuring out if im grabbing a Ceriatone AH 100 Deluxe or Ceriatone Leviathan. this helps but im still not sure which is for me
Thanks! Zack is known for his love of the JCM800, and that would be more appropriate for his tone, but this amp would get you close enough and you can get way more gain than a JCM800, too.
@@obsessedwithguitars3157 thanks so much for the quick response! So this will do higher gain JCM800? How is it at lower volumes? I have small children so I can't always be blowing to house down lol
@@justingiles7163 I think the JCM800 is brighter and more brittle, but you can get close. Even at 50 watts, it'll bow the walls on the other side of the room. Quiet isn't something it's really good at.
I actually did a couple vids highlighting the cleans. Really great, I was surprised because my experience with high gain amps is that they generally don't do cleans well!
@@stateengineer8760 I feel it does with my Strat, but I mainly use this amp for dirt and don't do a lot of country style playing. I'll say that in the in between settings I feel it can really do excellent Dire Straits tones.
Tuning your guitar would be an awesome start. Hate to say... but, you're not going to influence many people onto this great amp with what you've got going on.
nice job, thanks covering the bases! I'm getting ready to order one and it really helped!
Awesome vid, thanks for uploading!!
Thanks for making me an awesome amp!
Thanks for the detailed tour! Using the bad cat is nice being able to explore the power amp without dying 😂 I use mine all the time, for every amp.
Oh man. Gorgeous high gain.

I'm looking to get in the Zakl Wylde ballpark. Is this the model I'm looking for? I'm new to Ceriatone.
Great demo by the way!

@@obsessedwithguitars3157 thanks again for all the info!
How is the sound? Does it has the bottom end of the Be 100?
100w always have more bottom end... this sounds great though
How are the cleans?

@@obsessedwithguitars3157 The BE 50, actually can do that country spank... I wasn't sure if that was the same for this amp

Nobody would use the clean in drop P or whatever is your in. Should have shown is in standard tuning.
Hey look Rick Moranis has a stack!
Are you the Key Master?
@@obsessedwithguitars3157 I was intending the inclusion of a GB quote. ZUUL 4 EVAR!
His final form was that of a giant slor!
It's like cherry-uh-tone, not sairy-uh-tone.

Tuning the guitar to C ruined the video for the 98% of people who don't tune to C
