Hi, I cant thank you enough for this video. I am 36 yrs old and I can hardly remember how math is one this day and age. My son had an "ah ha" moment after 2hrs reviewing this video. My 5th grader son is struggling and I would like to go through your videos to see how much more help i can get for him. But i dont see anything on "Division with using the strategy {partial quotients], can I request a how to instructional video for him? Thank you.

thank you for the helpful information found in the video and the reason in the beginning she got 20 is because u Must find the LCD means Least Common Denominator which u have to find the same number with 4 and 10
heres example
4 4 8 12 16 20
10 10 20 30 40 50
now have u seen 20 ? if u do
u use 20 as the denominator of 4 and 10
then now do the operation
To find a common denominator first you need to find LCM

How can the lowest common denominator be 20 for both 10 and 4 for example number one? I am confused with that.
Thts because 20 is the least common multiple o 10 and 4. 😊 There is a separate video i have done about least common multiple, please check it out! 😊
