Xin Chao Vietnam! Have you been in Vietnam? We are so happy to be here and can't wait to explore more places. Rate Dan's Vietnamese accent below haha We are curious to know! Wish you all a beautiful day. Dan and Lyn
Hahha honestly just try as many as you can. Usally we tend to go where there are a lot of local people. We are almost never disapointed by our bowl of pho 🤤
Haha yeah if you have a little of time you can watch the original video of this "documentary" our travel from Laos to Vietnam it's even more fun haha ;)
Lyn, your Vietnamese is fine. Your pronunciation is very good and easy to understand. It’s just something you don’t use everyday and I can feel the hesitation and probably your vocabulary is limited. If you stay and hang out with Viet people in Vietnam for a few months, you will be fluent.
Hello, I feel like too, if I can stay few months, I am going to be more confident with my speaking. That's true that my vocabularies are very limited as I talk only with my parents and talking with others is very different. For example, I struggle every time I say the pronoun "I", with my parents I say "con" but now I have to say like "chi" or "em". I have to think each time before answering haha. And for me I feel weird to say even "em" with older person... As with my uncle and aunties I always say "con" too. I don't know if it makes sense. But for sure I love practicing it with local and learn new words already. Like cup "cốc" and bowl "bát", usually I use "ly" or "tô" Thank you so much for your comment and have a good day :) Lyn

If you’re in Saigon try Phở Lệ or Phở Phượng
Thank you so much for the recommendation! Well noted :)
