I believe he lives in the same town as this bookstore so it was the start of his book signings. Also gotta love supporting small independently owned businesses so that’s pretty cool of him.
RL Stine is one of my childhood idle! Since the age if 5 I loved to write books and now I'm 13 I really want to be an author/ have a career in writing. I didn't know he was left-handed!! I am too!!
@@holaitsjeremie Thanks for the support!! I've honestly felt like giving up recently but haven't told anyone about it so it's really nice to hear supportive words like that 😀
That's so fckin cool that you got to meet him mate. I wish he'd come to a bookstore here in the UK. I've loved his books since I was about 7. I'm 28 now. Lol. 🕊️ ✌🏻 Peace
He is great. I am a 37 yo 90s kid fan in Australia grew up reading his Goosebumps and Point Horror books. Recently read his more recent book for grown ups ‘Red Rain’. It is a horror-comedy. Farcical and full of humour. I loved it. And set in Sag Harbor. I Google mapsed it. Looks like a beautiful place. :-) greetings from Australia.
How lovely, Russell! I just placed an order a week ago for some of the new books he’s made for adults and his latest Slappy World Series. So many amazing stories created by that man. Excited to read Red Rain.
Wow. R.L. Stine is a southpaw too! ❤❤❤❤ Love his books! His books became my comfort zone during recess and lunch at school 'cause I am a loner and got no friends. Really got hooked up with goosebumps. Especially Slappy 😂❤
As an adult I’ve always wondered how it passed as a children’s anthology show until I remember it was the 90s hahahahah. But that series itself is way more creepier then the movies or that new tv series
He so very legendary for 25 years ago since the goosebumps in early 90's tv show comes out! But i didn't even watched it until like early around of 2014, 2015 and 2016. I read the books too. It was so supermega and beautiful of empowerment fairytale worldwide nations. Scary thing is played out ghost when invisible person is totally not there inside the house. I love it! R.L stine
I had a hospital stay as a kid. LOVED my Goosebumps books. I called my neurosurgeon "Dr. Goosebumps" because he always took the time to chat with me for a moment about which one I was reading. (It was only a 2 week stay, but I read A LOT when I was feeling up to it and finished multiple books.) I'd LOVE to meet R.L. Stine!
When I was ten years old, in 1994, the dude who illustrated those original covers came to my middle school in northern New Jersey and did a presentation of all the work he's done especially with goose bumps and fear street. And that next Monday every kid had a goosebumps book in their hand!
Oh man. This one hurts. One year ago? Had I known i would’ve been there. I’m so out of touch. I live in NYC. wouldn’t be much of a drive. What a legend.
That’s so awesome. I wonder how he feels about the reboot. I loved the original show minus some stinkers. I remember he’d occasionally narrate the intro for the specials.
I was in elementary school when goosebumps came out. I already loved reading but goosebumps was everything. My 5 year old daughter is following in my footsteps and it makes me so happy. I would die to take her to meet RL Stein
Been collecting goosebumps for a year now and have a massive collection my dream to meet him and get a signed book but I live in the UK so glad you got to meet this amazing writer that changed so many people lives
I grew up reading Goosebumps and watching the tv show. R.L Stine is the reason i started writing sci fi and horror. Glad to see hes still going strong!
There are few books of r. L in my school library after reading all of them i started reading his books on Kindle i am from india and i am 13 there are not much students in my class who likes reading books so i kind of felt alone 😔 but here i can see true lovers

He had a very huge impact im my childhood..his books allowed me to escape through very tough times and made me the 2nd highest reading score in my school..i still have my childhood books ❤❤❤❤

R.L. Stein was my shit when I was a kid. I was always buying a Goosebumps from those Scholastic book fairs, and from Walden's Books back in the day.
When I was ten years old, in 1994, the dude who illustrated those original covers came to my middle school in northern New Jersey and did a presentation of all the work he's done especially with goose bumps and fear street. And that next Monday every kid had a goosebumps book in their hand!
