    In this trader training video Brannigan discusses Auction Imbalances & Low Volume Areas. A Low volume area is an untraded area over a certain time, very minimal amount of trade facilitated. On a principal base sense. So long as a low volume area holds there is an excess position in the market. There is an imbalance in the market. The sellers got very aggressive through a certain price point, which he shows on the market profile. A lot of volume just ahead of the break, whether that was the longs liquidating or shorts hitting the bid. We now have some fresh shorts in the market As long as a market holds below a low volume area the market should continue to price lower. The largest 30 minute range came from a retest of the low volume area. Brannigan shows examples also on the chart in the Bund, Oil and Gold

      @@AxiaFutures thank you.Excellent video Really appreciate your videos .So imbalance as "low volume" zone as opposed to "balancing area" where market is trading/ building "value" ...what about "unfinished" auction like some label the footprint 0*13 PS: I like those "neat" charts especially the profile is super "readable" .Is CQG as "complicated" to set up as Sierra ? it is probably way more expensive ( than Sierra) package to get MP and footprint

      @@marsery CQG doesn't have Footprint, only MP. But the settings on MP are easier than Sierra

    I would think the market is hawkish if the feds put money into the bonds..and not dovish

    The market is not an auction in the traditional sense. . In an auction the person selling is out whereas in the stock market a person selling may profit or lose sometime after the item is sold. Nice try though. You need to solve the paradox. The end is the begining, which means the begining is the end but time is always linear....so how does it become?

      it is a two way auction you need to do your research

    • @dom4759
      @dom4759 4 года назад

      That does not matter. The person on the other side of your trade may be betting against you . People are placing bets or initiating a gamble. It's a gambling house not an auction house. This gamble plays heavily in how and why price moves. As much as the auction brings together buyers and sellers it generates buyers and sellers.

      Dom the market is constantly searching for two way trade (in other words balance) - 2 way trade of course is a balance of prices where buyers and sellers agree to exchange contracts. If price rises to high to a LVN, buyer cut off and sellers step in returning price to value, same goes for opposite LVN. It is not a gambling house it is a complete 2-way auction
