I love the relationship this bible will always have for you with your engagement. I have cherished this edition of the gospels since it came out. I have a degree in theology and the arts, so my connection between this work and the illuminated manuscripts of old was immediately strong when I heard about it. As happy as I am that it introduced me to Mako's art, I'm also glad to it introduced me to his writings. He's just as brilliant a thinker as he is an artist, and his latest book, Art + Faith, is probably the best single volume on a Christian view of art-making that I've read.
Tim this was amazing. I can see how connected you are to this particular work, and it's an inspiration to me as well. I would love to see Makoto Fujimura's work in person. I will look for it after we come out of this pandemic. Thanks again.

Great work on the video! So I just got mine today, looks beautiful! Just one thing I dont understand and cant seem to find anywhere online....so seems the book was released for sale 2011?(shows both published in 2011 and release date 2011) but says within that it utilizes the 2016 edition of the ESV....please someone help me understand this better. Thank you 😊
