I always thought Sam Elliott was an exceedingly handsome man, but when he was young(er) and more clean-cut, that's as far as it went. But then he got older, and developed that amazing rumble/growl in his voice...😍 Did it suddenly get very warm in here?? 🔥
I know this is supposed to be about Sam, but looking at this and seeing Patrick S in these clips & remembering some pics of his last days…it’s such a crying shame how such a disease can waste a person away. 😢
I met Sam Elliott in Texas about 40 years ago. He had a vacation house on Eagle Mountain Lake near Azle, Texas. VERY down to earth and cool. No disrespect at all but Patrick Swayze as the cooler always cracks me up. 🤣 RIP Patrick Swayze. Thanks for all you did. 👍
Sam has always been underrated as an actor. But I know their is no one that doesn’t always get a smile when Sam appears on screen in any scene in any movie.

@@riproar11 I wasn't or trying to be annoying and I didn't think my comment was. I was just stating that as an actor, in my opinion, he's always been a little overrated. Did you see him in the 1883 Yellowstone movie? Fantastic performance. I think it's crazy that a person can't provide a personal opinion on a subject without being ridiculed or made fun of for it. I'm obviously not the only one who thinks that, and I, for one, will not be criticized for my opinion. It might not be yours, but I'm entitled to mine. Thank You.

I don't like remakes for the same reason I don't like sequels: they take what worked best in the original movie and try to make it work again. 👎 No, just no. And for those of us who loved Patrick Swayze, having another actor play Dalton is a slap across the soul.
Man, fight choreography sure has come a long way. Not knocking the movie at all (Before all the haters decide to throw in their opinions). I actually love Roadhouse. One of my all time childhood favorites. And yes I mean I watched this movie as a child. I'm just stating a fact about the choreography.
@stesrad While I do appreciate your opinion, you're going to have to explain to me what non-contact fighting would be. Because any physical fight is contact. Yes, I do have training in contact fighting. I have 4 years bjj with an amateur mma background. But thank you for your assumption. I never said it wasn't or was realistic. I said the choreography has come a long way, and it has. Do some movies take it too far, yes. But older movies like RoadHouse, you'll see guys just sitting there taking punches while looking the guy right in the eye, not throwing a hand up once. That is not realistic my friend.
Since everyone is on nostalgia craze, how about a spinoff series about Wade Garrett on Netflix, Hulu, etc. Unfortunately, we'd know what the last episode would end like 😢
