Great Movie... Patrick was Great so was Sam...but Sam didn't know how to put his hand up or throw a Punch at all...it's hard for me to take a movie seriously when you have someone in a fight pretending to be a good fighter and he can't even throw a punch....but that's the only thing in this movie I didn't care for ..

Not to mention Benny "The Jet" Urquidez was doing all the fight choreography with Marshall R. Teague (multiple black belts) and Patrick Swayze (an accomplished martial artist who apparently could've been a great kickboxer too, according to Benny).

Although Swayze is my favorite actor, he has good acting skills, he is plastic, he owns his body well, ballet school, he is a dancer. But waving his legs is not his forte.
I give Benny Urquidez all the credit for his perfect choreographic moves to make this as realistic as ever. Patric loved working with Benny and that is what makes a good movie great. From a humble teacher with a big heart Kudo''s to Benny the jet.

Patrick Swayze also continued training with Benny for many years after this movie was done and according to him, he had become quite skilled in karate & kickboxing. Also, the bandleader of the house band is played by no other than the legendary blues guitarist Jeff Healey, who was blind irl.
Nicolas Cage being one of them for 1997's "Con Air" and his kudos, skill and years of experience in martial arts has made him a sought after crew members within the movie industry today - long may it continue.

The most unrealistic thing about all of the scenes, is that the cue stick was still in one piece. Only a metal one would have stayed together, but the wooden one used would have broken the moment it hit someone. They are not designed for any form of combat.
