This is my dream set-up and conversion. I am considering the 2020 Platinum and these modifications are all PERFECT and clean! Well done 88 Rotors
Why not wait til 2021 for the new model. I hear it comes with 450hp 500tq and over 30mpg combined.
@@franciscocruz6726 30mpg combined?? That thing won't have a v8 then. Some v6 with turbo or something like that, but I can't believe a Tundra with 30mpg combined. I would never give up this bulletproof v8, NEVER!
@@thekraken826 it's coming with a V6 twin turbo hybrid. The engine has been sold in a Lexus since 2018ish.
@@franciscocruz6726 IMO the only thing the Tundra needs is a complete interior redesign, way better infotainment system and materials, THAT'S IT! Changing that bulletproof engine is a bad decision.

I can understand wheel locks, but center caps should be federally illegal. Fuck center caps.

2020 taco came with remote start either from dealer or factory. Still turns off when you open door, still turns off after 5 mins....
Yeah, I just made dumb keys for my 07 and start it with the chip key and lock the doors. Handy for warming it up at work in the winter and cheaper. Sometimes it takes 15-30 minutes to warm up properly in this Northern Iowa climate.

You guys do GREAT work! I wish you were closer. Watching your video has made my mind up on which truck I want, TUNDRA PLATINUM. Can you recommend where I could find painted skull caps for the side view mirrors? Also, I wonder if you can get painted door handles? I would want to get rid of all the chrome. The only thing I hate about the 2020 is that they removed the transmission cooler.
I don't understand why the mount cuts, when it's being lifted (clearance)....I understand if it's being lowered!?
It's to accommodate the bigger tires
Larger tires will rub, maybe not sitting level or daily driving, but if the suspension is flexed in an off road situation during a turn.

when you guys do this modification on a brand new truck does the warranty gets void by the dealership.🤔
Yup, any modification that isnt oem voids the dealership warranty.

@@-emme-nguyen4404 Yeah if your leasing a vehicle its best to keep it stock or do modifications that dont require cutting or drilling (stuff like seat covers, WeatherTech liners, truck bed mat, bolt on rock sliders, Tonneau Covers, No Drill Mud Flaps, and paint protection film is ok).
When I purchased my 2020 Toyota Tacoma the guy at the dealership offered me an Extended Warranty that he said covered my truck even if I did modifications to it and it had different levels of warranty ranging from like 2k to 8k but I decided to not get the extended warranty because I usually hear that those are scams and when you try to claim a warranty repair they will come up with an excuse of why its not covered under the warranty.

@88rotors what kind of modification do you guys do on the skid plate for the prior year?
We roll it up to make it look OEM to give it extra clearance on full lock. Some people trim it, we roll it because it looks cleaner, in our opinion.
I just can't believe the 2020 tundra still has the same old style since 2014.
