Thank you, Danny. I needed to hear this. I tend to put everything and everyone else ahead of my art. I don't expect others to like my work, though that is nice. My worst enemy is time and whether or not I feel I'm worthy of it for my art. I think that is what has been going on with myself since our last precious cat passed on March 9th. I love three cats in seventeen months, all seniors that needed a lot of my attention, which I gladly gave. Once we lost the last, I scurried around keeping busy with catching up on housework and the like and forgot to take care of myself. I now am feeling lost. I only got back to drawing three years ago after being a Wife, Mom, and Grammy first. I guess I need to do that again now that I'm no longer a Cat Mom. Thanks for the reminder that I need to take care of me, too. God bless you.

Thank you for addressing this issue. This has been a big thing for me lately. I don't struggle with any guilt. I am just checking with myself and trying to justify my feelings and actions. I have family and friends. I make sure I have a place for them in my life. However, my art is mine. This is about me not other people. It has always been that way. The phone is not a have to for me. It is usually off. When I am creating that time is my time, for me. My father was a sign painter and an artist. He taught me to honor and respect my art. That means I don't accept criticism unless I am being critiqued. This is my style. Thank you. I feel more sure about how I am using my time.

I now paint every day or st least sketch - because i read the book the War of Art, and then just began- never felt better or happier. Your videos are great and affirming for people too!!! Drawing and painting is so good for people😊😊😊😊
