Love this. I lived in Chicago for 15 yrs and had the opportunity to see Hamid countless times; including his Solstice shows with Micheal Zerang. Seeing Hamid play is one of the things I miss most since leaving the city. And such a beautiful human being.

Yep! I saw Billy Cobham play 32nd beats with wrists oscillating both sticks’ both ends upon a mere Casio 4-pad drum toy at Circuit City, Cherry Hill, NJ store 1990 (and on many YT videos since). Even regarding many Buddy Rich solos viewable, I declare THIS performance as THE MOST AWESOME, EVER. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
