Well ... if you want a Royal Oak copy it seems OK ... the face is what most people will see and looks good even if the finishing isn't great ... though I agree with Ivan ... i wouldn't pay that price
If you're looking for an actual quality homage, the Pelton Perseus is very well made. Now it isn't quite 1:1, they went for a circular bezel, and there is no Clous de Paris to be found, but it's otherwise an obvious homage. Whether it's worth the $3000 asking price is a different question. I would expect more than an ETA 2824 at that price, but there's a very positive review on Average Bros that might be worth checking out.
I bought a similar Cadisen AP Royal oak homage and only difference I see is the bracelet is solid across a d the screw in crown on the Feice is nicer than the regular crown on the Cadisen. I like this but at $68 for the Cadisen, it wins in total value
Makes me chuckle reading the comments - sounds like it’s ok to ape a Rolex but nothing else haha to be fair to this piece you didn’t really raise that many negatives: essentially the size (which is very subjective), price (again subjective), movement (Seagull ST16 is actually fairly well regarded I believe for a Chinese movement) and the bracelet finishing. If you want the look of a $50k piece it’s really not that bad. Although as has been said you can get similar/same copy on Aliexpress for half the money. Although as was pointed out by Alex in the comments when you buy via Amazon you have returns policy etc so price will always be higher. Fantastic review, agree 100 percent with your assessment. I think it shows that sometimes the obsession with marketing spin doesn’t build a lasting brand
@@PerthWAtch FЄICƎ, AKA-Feike (飞克), was founded in 2009 in Shenzhen, with the goal of producing high quality Chinese made watches for the domestic market. The following year, the decision was made to concentrate on Bauhaus style timepieces. Fiece was first founded in 2009. Their goal was to prove that not all Chinese watches are low quality. They wanted to produce Chinese watches that would have greater perceived value than what people were accustomed to. Feice first became known for their Bauhaus styled watches. The Bauhaus style originated as a German school of thought. Watches in this style focus on simplicity. The goal there is to keep actual watch functions basic, and form a style off of this base. Everything about companies are online mate, just use Google lol. I knew this because I saw this a little while ago
The finishing is really important to explain to people that think they're getting a High Horology piece for 200 hundred dollars only because of the fact it looks like a expensive piece.
@@PerthWAtch probably should have worded it better . Guess what I was trying to get across is you get what you pay for . For that price the quality not going to be anywhere close to the real deal . Think the brand Dundin not sure how to spell the name but there said to be another fairly nice copy of the watch you reviewed today .
@@PerthWAtch you did a great job explaining more or less agreeing with you and if you don't have alot of money and like these style of watches it's a great way to experience them .😉
@@PerthWAtch the one about the lack of innovation of the company that makes the Feice. Whats the innovation in a Pagani Hulk? Pagani also takes An existing watch etc..or did You mean to say that the producer of Feice markets the watch like it's innovating while Pegani does not? Good video by the way.
Yeah I had one of these for about five minutes and shipped it back, it was pretty horrific, but you get what you pay for! Love the videos man, just published one myself and I have to say I am in awe of how much effort it takes just to get ten minutes of content onto the screen! Keep it up!
Only thing i disagree with is the water resistance, 30 meters is still 90 feet, recreational diving is recommended at 180 or something. Soo ehhh I can’t swim 90 feet underwater 🤷🏻♂️ not on a breathe hold at least. And if you have a 90 foot bathtub or pool, you’re probably pretty awesome! Lol
That’s coz you don’t understand the implications of the water rating. It’s not just about static resistance in lab conditions. Look it up, including water resistance charts from people who make watches ;)
Theres a typo in the title: "Perth WAtch". Also, I really dislike their logo, even ignoring the "original". The mix of angular and curved fonts just doesn't work at all.
When you talk about their originality, and they burnish their “Bauhaus” homage, which company are you saying it’s a near copy of? [At ~13:50] It sounds like you’re saying “Slander” (but I admit I can be misunderstanding way European manufacturers’ names can be pronounced).
This is no different to SM, Pagani, Phlida or Courgert watches they all make near 1:1 copies off the sub or Seamasters so I don't see what the difference is! Anyway, I'm not into any Homage watches anymore. Cheers mate...
I don't understand why homage watch makers don't go quartz. Clearly anyone buying this is only concerned about the aesthetics, so why not incorporate something cheaper and more accurate? Obviously you would have to give up transparent case backs... but was that a selling point?
The reason is because whenever there is a choice to go for an automatic vs a quartz, the former still proves to be more desirable amongst those who go for homage designs.
Pretty nice at a glance, but if I would want a Royal Oak homage I would go for a Maurice Lacroix Aikon. Great quality and a little bit more of personality even though with a higher price.
Barring the brand's questionable, self-proclaimed story, mission statement about themselves and their products, they did an ok job for the price. But, like u said, for about as much, less or a little more, probably can have a much higher quality product. But, I think 42mm is too big for that style.. the problem is the 52mm lug to lug. With such a straight and flat case with very short angled lugs, it is just suitable on wrist sizes less than at least 7". Even if the case were smaller at 40mm, depending on your wrist shape, the watch case style may plateau out or "plank" on wrist.
@@PerthWAtch My review is up on my page. Basically, you KNOW you are buying a homage, what did you think you would get? Big props, the company was very responsive and quick to act when I had an issue with one of the screws. I bought this watch to review, will I keep it, probably for a bit. It is better than half of the homages I have bought in the past two years. The best Royal Oak homage I have tried is the CasiOak mod. But it's a quartz, which many don't like. Well, actually I think the watch isn't so bad as an homage... although I do reckon San Martin does a far far better job at the same price range. So I’m coming back to this video after just now watching another review of one of their models. A Chinese speaker commented on the video that actually the brand is pronounced face three. He says it is the Chinese “Fei” plus C plus 3. Does that make sense to you? All this time we’ve been making feces jokes.
If the watch is made in China, I would not spend more than $50.00 for it. Anything more than that, I would go to the Alibaba website for more less the product but at a cheaper price..
How in the hell you wash the dishes then? 😂😂...but seriously Ivan...the Casio F series can take almost the beating on everything...if its broken...just throw it out and get another one 😆😆
You can buy that exact watch for less than $50 from alibaba, it’s just a Chinese knock off with a different name on the dial. This is another company following the MVMT way of selling watches, cheap crap with a huge markup.
Different name means not this exact watch. It may be the same otherwise but you really can’t tell until you have it in hand to compare directly. Also, have you tried buying from Alibaba? It’s a wholesale site for businesses, selling in bulk - you mostly won’t be able to buy a single watch.
I did the walk of shame and bought this on a boredom whim don’t know what I was thinking . Bad idea, movement stopped in a day . It’s a bit of a dog really all in all it’s a very poor watch . I would avoid like the plague..
Certainly not an original design, and not great quality. However there are a number of companies out there simply making "knock-offs" or homages so not sure why this one deserves quite such criticism. Again not on my list of future purchases. However I'd certainly rather wear this than the Ciga design on your last review, at least you can tell the time with this.....
@@PerthWAtch Yes you made your point of view very clear. But that still doesn't change my mind about wanting a watch, regardless of the quality, to actually be a watch, and to tell the time. @@PerthWAtch It could have been perceived by reviewers with no intention from Casio. Non the less I think it is a modern twist on an old but good design? You can't buy them for love nor money in the UK. Someone obviously loves them. Cheers.
Great review got a similar watch hopefully coming from AliExpress a Didun Design, Great Review!
Yeah I didun know about that brand until people mentioned it here. Then again, I think they probably didun actually design anything on their watches ;)
@@PerthWAtch Hahaha
Well done and well said sir! Thanks for another great review!
My pleasure :)
You can get Cadisen version with Seiko NH36A on Aliexpress for US$66 and I have a $25 AP from Paulareis which i think has the same seagull movement and quite good finishing for what it cost
The Cadisen also has sapphire and solid ends? If so it's overall probably better.
@@PerthWAtch It does not have sapphire but it does have the Seiko movement. It's likely similar in quality for less than half the price.
@@MeanE The updated Cadisen 42mm has a sapphire crystal. For about $80 it's crazy good value.
Feice sounds a bit like faeces looks like that's quite fitting. Gr8 honest review. I value your opinion.
Thanks for that - glad you enjoy the reviews :)
This is more shameless than Pagani 'Design' 😂 I like the detailing on the dial though, at least they've done thay well!
I think you're right, possibly more shameless!
Feice........Feice?? no, wait.....Hang on a minute!......Faeces......Faeces?? Yep, Faeces!!! Great video BTW!!
I think they told me it’s “Feices” ;)
not sure what they were thinking to make exhibition case back with that movement!
Yeah, although they’re not alone in doing that
For the unitiated $200 for a watch looking very close to a Nomos Llambda would be tempting. Even I questioned paying $10,000 for the original...for a few seconds.
And then you pulled the trigger??
@@PerthWAtch I tried, believe me. They sold out quickly, but I love that dial. Not willing to spend more than twice just for a gold case though.
Sooo it’s essentially a didun design Royal Oak from a year or so ago..... but they rebranded it and added £100 or so onto the aliexpress price?
Didun Design? Sorry, I didun know about that brand and you can be sure they didn’t design anything on a watch like this ;)
Perth WAtch a couple years back there was a Royal Oak homage by a company called “didun design” on aliexpress, they were quite popular and well built but only cost about £50 nowadays a lot of companies offer these homages really similar to that watch..... with either a miyota quartz or Chinese automatic movement... just like the didun design..... but ask a couple 100 pounds/dollars for them! Great video btw :)
Fantastic review, agree 100 percent with your assessment. I think it shows that sometimes the obsession with marketing spin doesn’t build a lasting brand
Thanks for that man :)
Well this brand has been out since 2009 I believe, so it’s lasting so far 😂
Possibly fake news mate, should fact check that
@@PerthWAtch FЄICƎ, AKA-Feike (飞克), was founded in 2009 in Shenzhen, with the goal of producing high quality Chinese made watches for the domestic market.
What is INDISEE ?
I don’t know
I got one and the links didn’t want to come out they were all stripped or some crap
Yeah that’s coz it’s a piece of Feice!
Smash it Ivan. Smash it now.
You no like the watch?
The finishing is really important to explain to people that think they're getting a High Horology piece for 200 hundred dollars only because of the fact it looks like a expensive piece.
I get what you mean... I think...
No comparison to expensive pieces, even pieces at above $500, I would be silly to do that. This is worse than others at the same price range IMO.
@@PerthWAtch you did a great job explaining more or less agreeing with you and if you don't have alot of money and like these style of watches it's a great way to experience them .😉
I have the skeletonize version. Mine isn't sharp like I've seen in these reviews, I like it. It is what it is.
It is indeed! A piece of Feice ;)
Hey bro does your watch is working properly still??
@@wildlifewith4415 yes, but I wear it maybe 1 a month. I have a lot of watches.
No offence but isnt your closing statement not applicable for the Pegani 'Hulk'? Where is the innovation in that?
My closing statement of “Thanks for sticking with me, I’ll catch you guys again next time”??
@@PerthWAtch touche. Hehe. U know what i mean.
Actually no... I am not sure which statement you are referring to.
Sounds like you agree with me 👍
Yeah I had one of these for about five minutes and shipped it back, it was pretty horrific, but you get what you pay for! Love the videos man, just published one myself and I have to say I am in awe of how much effort it takes just to get ten minutes of content onto the screen! Keep it up!
I would say you’re getting less than what you pay for, in comparison with what else you can get for $200...
@@PerthWAtch I agree, you can find some older new stock Glycine's in the $300 USD range and they have selittas in them!
It’s not a typo. Have a guess why the A is capitalised ;)

anyway..great video, Ivan...
Hahaha be careful where you say that... you might have to dodge stones man! :)
When you talk about their originality, and they burnish their “Bauhaus” homage, which company are you saying it’s a near copy of? [At ~13:50]
It sounds like you’re saying “Slander” (but I admit I can be misunderstanding way European manufacturers’ names can be pronounced).
The watch they copied was the Nomos Lambda.
@@PerthWAtchthanks
Too much money for what it is, thy will have to drop the price for it to shift, too many better homages at a lower price and decent quality. Regards.
Yep, certainly some of the same thoughts I had
personally the best valued Rolex homage is San Martin, as Ivan mentioned. incredible value for the money.
and I thought Pagani design was taking the Mikey !!!!!!! I think the plural says it all! :-)
As in Feice Originals? ;D
This is no different to SM, Pagani, Phlida or Courgert watches they all make near 1:1 copies off the sub or Seamasters so I don't see what the difference is! Anyway, I'm not into any Homage watches anymore. Cheers mate...
You don’t see because you don’t perceive carefully - watch again ;)
I don't understand why homage watch makers don't go quartz. Clearly anyone buying this is only concerned about the aesthetics, so why not incorporate something cheaper and more accurate? Obviously you would have to give up transparent case backs... but was that a selling point?
The reason is because whenever there is a choice to go for an automatic vs a quartz, the former still proves to be more desirable amongst those who go for homage designs.
Too expensive....sorry.
Apology accepted ;)
Looks good but sounds a bid jangly sort of tinny.
Oh believe me it is a piece of Feice!
Pretty nice at a glance, but if I would want a Royal Oak homage I would go for a Maurice Lacroix Aikon. Great quality and a little bit more of personality even though with a higher price.
Isn’t that something like 15x higher price?
@@PerthWAtch yes, sure. It's almost 2k €. At that price you can consider a lot of other watches, but the quality is there
I don't care for the Royal Joke. Its a solid meh. It does have a seagull instead of a Tongi and a sapphire glass that is to their credit.
At $200 it would be shocking to just have a Tongji!
I used to own a Didun Design. Same watch
I've seen that one on Aliexpress. How was it?
I didun know about that brand... then again, they probably didun actually design anything on their watches ;)
@@karlsenula9495 great value for money and well made. I paid about £70 but mine didn't have sapphire
Yes and Didun is much much cheaper 😄
@@karlsenula9495 They are crap! Mine fell apart the crown just fell out one day! And the dial wasn't aligned up very well! It was a crap heap!!
Yep agreed about the size issue there. As for this being ok... I think the fact you can get better for the same money or less makes this not ok.

@@PerthWAtch ha so very true
Harsh, man. It's a $170 watch.
Was there any part you disagreed with?
@@PerthWAtch My review is up on my page. Basically, you KNOW you are buying a homage, what did you think you would get? Big props, the company was very responsive and quick to act when I had an issue with one of the screws. I bought this watch to review, will I keep it, probably for a bit. It is better than half of the homages I have bought in the past two years. The best Royal Oak homage I have tried is the CasiOak mod. But it's a quartz, which many don't like. (GShock GA 2100 with a bezel/bracelet from Aliexpress) Love your channel.
Well, actually I think the watch isn't so bad as an homage... although I do reckon San Martin does a far far better job at the same price range. The problem I was ranting more about is the sheer BS marketing the have on their website... and they have the gall to claim they are trying to advance Chinese horology!
@@PerthWAtch As a former Marketing Executive for a small manufacturing firm, I can live with the sin of over-hyping and bad copy. Honestly, if I got mad at all the bullsheet I read on watch companies web pages, I'd be mad all the time.
Fair enough. The marketing paradoxes on their website was the worst I have seen though...
So I’m coming back to this video after just now watching another review of one of their models. A Chinese speaker commented on the video that actually the brand is pronounced face three. He says it is the Chinese “Fei” plus C plus 3. Does that make sense to you? All this time we’ve been making feces jokes.
No, that doesn’t make sense to me. Can you share the video link?
@@PerthWAtch ruclips.net/video/tzkX8xnwm-I/видео.html
Nope, doesn't make sense at all, and the guy didn't provide any substantiation whatsoever.
If the watch is made in China, I would not spend more than $50.00 for it. Anything more than that, I would go to the Alibaba website for more less the product but at a cheaper price..
You can’t get it from Alibaba - that’s a wholesale portal for businesses to buy in bulk.
Feices, because you can't have just one
Apparently everybody needs just one more watch ;)
They need to change their name
Yep that’s what I said
30 m...
Better to by a much cheaper one off AliExpress then? Might not be worse in any way...
You might well be right there
30 meters? I wouldn’t swim, shower, wash my hands or make tea with that watch on.
Yep. I don’t wash dishes with anything less than 200m water resistance.
I swim with my Casio F94W...take a shower with it...wash dishes , bike and car...still not even a drop of water went inside the watch 😎✨
Good for you! All the same, you haven’t seen the way I wash dishes ;)
How in the hell you wash the dishes then? 😂😂...but seriously Ivan...the Casio F series can take almost the beating on everything...if its broken...just throw it out and get another one 😆😆
Yes that’s true!
Perth WAtch try AliExpress then for the same watch, there’s lots of them on there.
Yeah I did - see my link?
The same watch costs what I said.
I did the walk of shame and bought this on a boredom whim don’t know what I was thinking . Bad idea, movement stopped in a day . It’s a bit of a dog really all in all it’s a very poor watch . I would avoid like the plague..
Well I would be inclined to agree
Wow🤩
??
I think feice might be pronounced as ‘face.’ But you know better.
Nah I don’t think so...
If only they would make it in a more normal size like 38-39mm
I guess. It would then be a little piece of Feice ;)
8th !!!!
Woohoo!
238th !!!! 😀
Not sure why? Did you watch to the end of the video? Pretty sure I made myself very clear why.
@@PerthWAtch Yes you made your point of view very clear. But that still doesn't change my mind about wanting a watch, regardless of the quality, to actually be a watch, and to tell the time. At no point did I say I liked this or would buy it. Neither are attractive to me for various reasons. But a choice between this and the Ciga it would be this. I guess we have a case of differing opinions
Oh this certainly tells the time far better than that CIGA Design, no one can argue against that.
You either read it as "feis" or "feik". So it's either shit or fake. How appropriate.

@@PerthWAtch I wasn't thinking about the coronavirus. More like the sentiment of those Chinese sellers towards Australian buyers.
