In woodworking there is no need for that kind a accuracy because wood moves, enough with finger-feel and eye-measurement. for CNC that would be ok to have, metal lathe yes...

But, why give up precision, if it is possible to get it relatively cheaply? Besides, plywood, plastic and other materials that do not have as large dimensional deviations as wood, can be processed on the router table.
