Amazing Blue Waters of Maya Bay, Koh Phi Phi, Phang Nga Bay | Phuket, Thailand (Canon 5D Mark II)

- From a recent trip to Phuket, home to some of the bluest waters and most stunning beaches and scenery in the world. Highlights include Maya Bay / Maya Beach (where "The Beach" was filmed), Phang Nga Bay, Koh Phi Phi, James Bond Island (where one of the first 007's was filmed; aka Khao Phing Kan).
The video footage was filmed using a Canon 5D Mark II.

The boat ride which made me turn green was absolutely worth it for the crystal clear blue waters!
Maya Bay is jaw droppingly beautiful. Hire a longtail boat and go very early or late afternoon to avoid the crowds It will not disappoint. The perfect arc of white sand, crystal clear azure sea, gentle waves, lush steep cliff sides and sheer complete beauty are incomparable. I have been to many gorgeous beaches but Maya Bay is the most beautiful I have see. Loh Mee Doh beach on Phi Phi Don is pretty special too. Visit both in a longtail at around 1309 baht. Love Thailand.

I migrated from Thailand to Germany. I damn miss my country, my lovely nice friends and all the friendly Thai people.
And this video is just one of the evidences that I shouldn't have left such a wonderful place like Thailand.. Yeahhh it was the greatest mistake I ever made :(

That is not only Phuket but also Krabi. In the reality, the colour of the water is much more beautiful than in video...! unbelievable..! I was there in Dezember 2012.

Anyone visiting Phi Phi - it's good to get to Maya Bay early before the crowds! Similarly, Phang Nga Bay, best to arrange a private trip heading out either early morning or late afternoon. Last time we visited James Bond Island there were no other tourists around at 5pm.

Amazing video..been here a few times and live in Thailand.Only problem with the video is,you aren't giving proper credit to Krabi which is where the Phi Phi islands are located,as well as James Bond island being in Phang Nga..None of this is Phuket.

sorry i don't want any1 missunderstand!!! so really Phiphi Island its in Krabi not Phuket!!!! i just been there in this month 2014. its still beautiful and have a white sand,i really love Phiphi lay that so beautiful and amazing if u go aroud in island im sure u gonna love it. Piley bay it was very beautiful 1of my fevorite place in Phiphi lay. :D

WOW! from what you have said, i just feel like going to Thailand and visit the beach! .... Thailand beach look much beautiful and cleaner than New Zealand.
Sunita Arawan Sadly, no. New Zealanders are raised not to dump rubbish everywhere. The boats pump raw sewage into the water right on the beach. Koh Phi Phi is covered in rotting piles of rubbish which the restaurants and hotels dump in the street. Stunning place, but the smell is getting worse by the year. Best avoided.
