This build is/was insaaaaaane. Played it all league; I've never had a better experience, even before switching to Svaliin/block. 10/10, am an LS believer now.

Started the league with this build and it's the furthest I've ever made it in POE! Thanks for the update! Just in time too. I was starting to struggle on how to progress the build past 4-6m DPS and finally switched over to Svalinn to not get smacked around in T17s
I am using svaliin for every single build I played for this league. League start with LS warden, after that playing pure spectre necro, flicker strike slayer. Now I am playing ice nova hieropant.
@@m.h.4907 I love my ele hit warden, never had such a strong character, even better than my multi-mirror TS (when TS was the greatest) Deadeye in affliction league, with warden I freeze everything screens away, bosses frozen, soul eaters - frozen. Snoobae was even farming divination cards with pilfering scarabs, which even the strongest characters couldn't do, but warden just freezes the boss then stacks up 98% shock and kills the boss with like 2k cards on it deathless... I think you played a wrong warden build my friend.
The hate you get is crazy, thanks for the video not everyone has time or luxury to no-life the game early and then complain about builds after. Ill try this out and hopefully atleast get 36 challenges done by the end of the league :)
I think it's better to drop iron reflexes and embrace hybrid phys defenses when you already got 88+ block with svalin, 30% extra physical max hit is kinda meh when it comes at the cost of 77% evasion
Never expected to see you here haha. I played without Iron Reflexes for a long time and it felt great but eventually something will slip through all of those defensive layers and get you, and having the extra mitigation helps. But if you prefer using evasion, go for it!
This was my build this league, i almost always play only one character because of time constraints, so i prefer them being good around all stages of the game so that i am not reliant on others to complete 36/38 challenges. I've been obliterating endgame content even before I invested high amounts of currency, the baseline for this build is really good. I do think Svalinn was a bit of an outlier in terms of defenses, and i am curious to see if it will be changed or become more difficult to obtain in the coming leagues. I appreciate the level of detail you've put into your PoB's and videos, especially the recombinator one was pretty helpful in understanding the weapon crafting.
Haha once i saw your other video on this shield i actually threw it on the trickster in hardcore with frost shield, sigil of power and aggressive bastion as the anoint and it's been great.
Unfortunately I bought/made all of my endgame gear without knowing about Nimis, and now if I replace my amethyst ring i drop to like 50% res. meaning I'd have to repurchase and/or remake everything i'm wearing which with how much my job allows me play isn't likely to be something I'll be able to do before the end of the league. bummer =(. I have had a really good time playing your build though. As a beginner switching from evasion as a defensive layer to block was pretty confusing as its a mechanic i've never used before. Also the way the build felt after i switched was clunky, slower and weaker to me for the first week or two. Eventually i was able to figure out how smooth everything out and boost the damage and i got to engage with and to learn new mechanics. So, overall it was a great learning experience. I'm grateful for all the work you put into the build and the guide videos, so thank you!!! I was left sort of lost for a while though trying to figure out why my build had dropped off after the switch and what i needed to do to bring it up speed. But its not like you can hold every noobs hand through every little detail. Anyways, appreciate the build. it was a fun league.
Get a timeless jewel with Fire Res on it If you are unsure how, google POB timeless jewel and watch a tutorial. This will make it so you need very little Fire res on your gear. I have 60 via my jewel

Good day, first of, congrats on these build guides, im really enjoying lightning Strike, but I need to say that Im still new'ish, very casual player,(played on and off over the years) I was wondering if it could be possible to make a video on the atlas side of the LS build, im thinking you (at first when early mapping) going for nodes to get some connected maps, but also going for syndicates to get some mods from there too, but then switching for whats good to go for with this build for sure, again thank you very much for these videos, I really apreciate your contents! Hey! Glad you're enjoying the build and PoE :) I would check out the Maxroll atlas starter guides for ideas but what you said sounds great - getting connected maps for map drops is perfect and what most people do, and then from there you can experiment and do whatever is fun, or follow a guide. You get a full passive new tree (the same one, but empty and with points) at 50 map completion and 100, so you shouldn't feel overly restricted to experiment
Yeah there's tons of RUclips videos/guides out there of farm starts with various investment levels. I like @PathofEvening for many of his farming strats
Its just hard to be imressed with any melee skill after you tried Smite armour stacker. Map clearing faster then 90% of spellcasters, tankiness allow to get lvl 100 on T17s and ubers just disappear for few clicks. Overall Svalinn shied is def-carry for lot of builds this league but LS is so popular thet become boring.
Warden is bad, really bad. Has no defensive ascendancy on it's tree. You literally need to pump a lot of currency into your defensive layers to be decent at least. Better roll another ascendancy

ancestral vision is a min-mixing choice, stormshroud consumes 1-2 jewel socket & utility flask effect to get complete immunity to elemental ailments, which is pretty bad in terms of min-maxing.
I get you're showing high end stuff but how cool would it be to see a build that DIDN'T cost more than most of us have made in the last 5 leagues combined.
Wow it sky rocketed..when I looted mine it was under 1 div (but it's only like 120 ward and 14% block) I'm using it though and it's just fine. Done need a perfect one
Love the build and the shield but I hope they just remove the shield next league it pretty much negates one of the main reasons to make a gladiator the same league they did a glad rework and makes versatile combatant worthless.
I was playing a very small Private League but it ended and I merged to trade. I didn't really care to push for XP past 97 so mostly ran the greedy DPS setup because I didn't care if I died occasionally while doing extremely rippy content :)
2 months into the league, there's been like a gazyllion of LS svalling guides, in fact that has to be one of the most ran by everyone build up to day, or at least top 3 from any league, and you're just waking up

I absolutely love the new warden ascendancy with the ele hit of the spectrum, pretty sure I would love the LS variant too
Absolutely garbage ascendancy compared to Raider. Better roll Juggs, Slayer, Trickster or Necro. They remain superior for literally every build

Really liked my ele spectrum warden too. Followed Kobes build and the freezes were so good in juicy content. Ppl stare blindly at ehp and dmg numbers

Slayer is better both dps and defensively. Warden needs to use tinctures

Check out the previous versions that cost 0D to make because they were on self found gear ;)
If I have 90% pyhs damage reduction without iron reflexes - I can skip it, right?
Unfortunately the number that shows Estimated Physical Damage Reduction in PoE is incredibly inaccurate so don't rely on it :(
The Svalinn shield is 180 divs in standard league😢
Because you need to rip out of hardcore to get it to standard, doesn't exist otherwise.

Agreed. The shield is nuts but does remove some of the specialness of the reworked Glad. I'm sure it'll get nerfed hard!

I have similar build and only 4.9 mil dps and 420 ehp can't understand why i missing tradeleague : nolimoli
It might just be the PoB Config that's different - compare yours to mine :)
