Beautiful video! Wonderful to see the herd growing and homestead doing well. I remember when you arrived on your land when nothing was there. You both are incredible. Looking forward to future videos.
What a beautiful herd of horses. Thank you so much for the wonderful and informative video. Will watch it over and over again. Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2021.
You really have built quite the place. I saw when you first walked to that property and to see what you've done is really incredible. Really admire your character and drive
I am so sorry that you're no longer on " Mountain Men". I have seen the episodes that you are on, several times. Just last week I agonized with you once again as you were on your last day of rations, headed up to shoot a Dahl sheep. I'm so grateful you got one!
I am so grateful for where you are now Morgan. I say your journey into the bush and then when Miss Margaret joined now the evolution of you guys post the show and on to YT. I LOOOVVVEEEE the horses and to be sure will buy one or more from you for my homestead. Can I buy any from you? Please keep the videos coming
I’m looking at starting a Homestead in Alaska in a couple years trying to figure out dogs versus horses how many bags of feed does A horse eat through the winter have you use them for packing in the deep snow loved your mountain man show it was my favorite
Just curious if the change of habitat of the Icelandic horse is changing the breed in any way? Also how do you protect them from predators since they don't have any in Iceland?
Interesting question, The foals that have been born here seem to have thicker coats than their parents. If you read about the Yakutian Horse, it took very few generations for a bunch of extreme cold weather genetics to express themselves.
They aren't ponies. Icelandic horse people get really serious about that point. pound for pound they are probably the strongest and fastest horse breed on the planet.
Everything is super lovely in this video and you all lovely people and horses and dogs are living in heaven.
Love to see this. They are happy in the snow. Alaska is a good alternative to Iceland
It's little funny how you say Félagi but how you say it is his name ... not quite correct Icelandic but who cares 😜
I listened to it on google translate, but yeah I mispronounce Lutja's name too
I followed you two on Mountain Men which is why I subscribed to your channel. I'm a horse lover -any breed. I love your Icelandics!
Thank You!
It was a pleasure to see "my horse" Lutja doing so well. Of all the foals we bred at our place, she was my favorite. It was a joy to see her!
She is a rock and such a good mom and perfect client horse for less experienced riders
Those are beautiful horses u have there 👍
thanks

I love your horses, our pastors wife has two of them and they are really cool horses.
Ive worked with all kinds of horses packing in the wilderness and nothing holds a candle to Icelandic's in intelligence, temperament and gait.

We always have a large stockpile of the most basic staples on hand! Anything less would be irresponsible.

Really depends what resources and ground you end up on, how far you have to go for feed. They will pack snow in winter, to a point.
I play Banjo and love that sound is that you playing ???
No I don't think it is, I only play guitar and a little mandoin
good looking herd!!!don't under estimate the money in making utube videos!! lumnah acres started small and in a few years they bought 500 acres!!
Thanks for the info

Vraiment dommage de ne pas pouvoir avoir une traduction en français........
As a horse owner myself, I wondered what breed of pony they are.
