Nijisanji made a terrible mistake allowing things to get bad enough that Nina graduated. Nina played a unique role of pushing the girls to be better versions of themselves. Even going so far as to push some of the NijiEN girls to interact with Kiara. Nina can talk to anyone and if her 18 hour graduation wasn't enough, she has the ability to connect people. vshojo basically billed themselves as a vtuber union from launch, and while they have been questionably successfull in that regard i can see why other agency vtubers are coming over to their ranks by the droves
We say that because there's no place that works like Vshoujo. Vshoujo has always been an agency that works on scouting elite vtubers as oppoose to creating new Vtubers. These vtubers don't need too much management because they already know how to do their jobs and they do it generally well. So instead of pushing management on them, they instead are an agency that works primarily with sponsorships and connections.
The meme of Vshojo serving as a retirement home is pretty much fact at this point. If any non-member friends leave their companies, we can take a guess where they're going.

I mean the main thing she cited was imposter syndrome as Nina it's not too hard to make the connection between that and the 'Rat Race'. Especially considering that Nijisanji likes screwing their talents over and taking most of the money from their streams and Merch it's not hard to see why. So not only was there a monetary reason but a really good reason as a Creator. Niji in lot of cases makes more money off the creators than the creators do. That added with the stress of being in a generation of others who were doing arguably better than you in terms of view count and getting the very small to pretty good sized bag at the end of it can turn anyone off from that scene.
Cockroach is definitely an… interesting design? It’s isn’t entirely my cup of tea, but maybe it’s meant to be symbolic (since cockroaches are “hard to kill”), or maybe just to hit a different niche inside of Vshojo. Regardless, I hope only for the best, and I hope Vshojo continues to treat their new and concurrent members well, since it seems like they do from a consumer’s standpoint.

I love these discussions about ad-blockers when recently during this time. I have been seeing ads for the very thing that RUclips is trying to stop. I just want to point out that out four, I'm literally seeing the very thing they are trying to get rid of or not allowing.
It's likely that they don't even go over what all ads are entailed and just sign the contract because money speaks. Much like the time years ago where ads were full of adult content and took months before they even realized what ads were running and even longer before they actually pulled them because of how much the contract was worth (it was A LOT).
To prove the whole thing about youtube doing nothing about sniperwolf, TheActMan made a satirical tweet about doxxing youtube team when his whole thing with QuantumTV feud was going on. He ended up being pulled from the partner program and got his channel demonetized for it
You know, hypothetical situation that may have gotten her screwed over more than Jack: "Im 5 minutes from Jack's house!" If someone were to use that information to find her, what then? She basically put the whole block in hot water.
One one side of things, she did a very huge illegal thing and she, and her sister by extension for promoting what Sniper has done, should be locked up for a very long time. On the other, there's a lot of vile people out there that would have NO problem tracking her down and doing much worse to her than what she did to Jack and his family. She, whether she cares or not, has made a lot of enemies over the years and seems to enjoy making even more without a care in the world. If RUclips/Alphabet Inc. doesn't step up and protect Jack and his family during all this, then they should be held as complicit and as an accomplice to whatever would happen to him and his family. Pretty sure that would be a much bigger legal hurdle for them to avoid than the multiple lawsuits held against them as is.
Another thing to add with ads, I’ve seen a lot, and I mean a lot of “coincidental” ads that pertain to things I’ve done online and even not online. They also have this new thing where if a video auto plays or on a playlist and an ad goes off, if you switch to another video it will play another ad anyway.

I'm completely fine with watching ads to support my favorite youtuber, but in its current state youtube is unwatchable without adblocker. Multiple unskippable ads in a row, random times interrupting the viewing experience and I even get adds when I just go back in the video to rewatch a specific part.
RUclips is pissing off the group of people who will go out of their way to get around their blocker. Eventually someone will create a blocker that strips the adds from the video takes them into a totally different tab (with out it opening or even showing) "play" the add while the video plays with out interruption.
If RUclips wants to stop people from using adblockers, here's an idea: As a plattform show some actual care and consideration for the majority of your Creators, DON'T blantantly have a double standard for certain creators while ignoring others and improve all the other issues people have callled out over the years; like for example the faulty and easily abusable copyright system. I refuse to pay for youtube Premium to get around the ads because all of those things that added up over the years and CONTINUE to add up and they make me not want to directly financially support RUclips, no matter how much I hate having to sit through all the ads. RUclips can start by demonatizing SSSniperwolf and I'd consider that a step in the right direction ;)

The only reason I use ad blockers is: RUclips shows ads on videos even when they don't pay a content creator because their content is not aligned with RUclips's politics.
As someone who heavily uses adblock, preventing it's use on RUclips _will not_ make you more money. People like me *DO NOT* want to see ads and if adblock stopped working here we'd move somewhere else to get our entertainment, which is still a raw deal for creators. Even if they're not getting ad rev they're still getting engagement and potential revenue from other sources like merch and you'll lose even that if the adblockers leave.
I'm really happy to see Nina back in the Vtubing scene, but I really wish Nijisanji was like Vshojo in letting talents keep their models cause the cockroach is nice but I really really love her fox mom one and it really sucks that Vtuber model will never be used again. But at least, I get to see more of Nina. Also damn... she nailed that yandere laugh and vibe at the end of her clip.

The problems with RUclips's ads are 1: the intrusive nature of the ads, often breaking the immersion/ flow of streams. 2: Possibility of malicious code / redirects or fraudulent content and 3: multiple ads placed on demonetized channels, sending all funds directly to RUclips.
On the subject of Dragon Spit, I actually like the middle ground when it comes to monster girls. Dragon Girls should have some scales, but the human eye candy should be there too. For me, Vshojo is not a vtuber agency but a vtuber support agency. There's nothing too strict but they still need to have a standard. It's definitely not easy to just accept 'anyone'.
Adblockers exist for a reason mostly to block scummy, scam, malware and other ads that take up too much space or block the screen I understand why ads are important but at a certain point it becomes questionable, scummy and makes it harder to use the site

What I find funny about that adblock message is that I have seen it on channels that are definitely demonetized. So youtube is trying to make us feel guilty because they are losing ad money from channels and videos that shouldn't be able to make ad money.

vshojo basically billed themselves as a vtuber union from launch, and while they have been questionably successfull in that regard i can see why other agency vtubers are coming over to their ranks by the droves
We say that because there's no place that works like Vshoujo. Vshoujo has always been an agency that works on scouting elite vtubers as oppoose to creating new Vtubers. These vtubers don't need too much management because they already know how to do their jobs and they do it generally well. So instead of pushing management on them, they instead are an agency that works primarily with sponsorships and connections.
The meme of Vshojo serving as a retirement home is pretty much fact at this point. If any non-member friends leave their companies, we can take a guess where they're going.

I mean the main thing she cited was imposter syndrome as Nina it's not too hard to make the connection between that and the 'Rat Race'. Especially considering that Nijisanji likes screwing their talents over and taking most of the money from their streams and Merch it's not hard to see why. So not only was there a monetary reason but a really good reason as a Creator. Niji in lot of cases makes more money off the creators than the creators do. That added with the stress of being in a generation of others who were doing arguably better than you in terms of view count and getting the very small to pretty good sized bag at the end of it can turn anyone off from that scene.

I love these discussions about ad-blockers when recently during this time. I have been seeing ads for the very thing that RUclips is trying to stop. I just want to point out that out four, I'm literally seeing the very thing they are trying to get rid of or not allowing.
It's likely that they don't even go over what all ads are entailed and just sign the contract because money speaks. Much like the time years ago where ads were full of adult content and took months before they even realized what ads were running and even longer before they actually pulled them because of how much the contract was worth (it was A LOT).
To prove the whole thing about youtube doing nothing about sniperwolf, TheActMan made a satirical tweet about doxxing youtube team when his whole thing with QuantumTV feud was going on. He ended up being pulled from the partner program and got his channel demonetized for it
So my assumption is Quantum is YT's internal mercenary to attack anybody he doesn't like and sniperwolf is YT's personal "sock"

You know, hypothetical situation that may have gotten her screwed over more than Jack:
"Im 5 minutes from Jack's house!" If someone were to use that information to find her, what then? She basically put the whole block in hot water.
5 minutes could mean 30 minutes and the amount of miles you can cover in just 10 minutes in a vehicle is huge.
One one side of things, she did a very huge illegal thing and she, and her sister by extension for promoting what Sniper has done, should be locked up for a very long time. On the other, there's a lot of vile people out there that would have NO problem tracking her down and doing much worse to her than what she did to Jack and his family. She, whether she cares or not, has made a lot of enemies over the years and seems to enjoy making even more without a care in the world. If RUclips/Alphabet Inc. doesn't step up and protect Jack and his family during all this, then they should be held as complicit and as an accomplice to whatever would happen to him and his family. Pretty sure that would be a much bigger legal hurdle for them to avoid than the multiple lawsuits held against them as is.

Another thing to add with ads, I’ve seen a lot, and I mean a lot of “coincidental” ads that pertain to things I’ve done online and even not online. They also have this new thing where if a video auto plays or on a playlist and an ad goes off, if you switch to another video it will play another ad anyway.
It was pretty obvious who matara was from how she acted on twitter at least for me and hearing her voice cemented it, i'm so happy to see her back since i was a big fan of hers and she seems allot happier now, the situation with youtube and ad blockers is pretty interesting, asmongold made a pretty informative video on it aswell, i don't mind the ads tbh as long as i can skip them but they could also work on getting better ads implemented.
You can imagine my frustration when I'm listening to narrations in the morning and it randomly pauses because youtube's like, "wE dOn'T aLlOw aD bLoCkErS"

I'm completely fine with watching ads to support my favorite youtuber, but in its current state youtube is unwatchable without adblocker. Multiple unskippable ads in a row, random times interrupting the viewing experience and I even get adds when I just go back in the video to rewatch a specific part.
RUclips is pissing off the group of people who will go out of their way to get around their blocker. Eventually someone will create a blocker that strips the adds from the video takes them into a totally different tab (with out it opening or even showing) "play" the add while the video plays with out interruption.

If RUclips wants to stop people from using adblockers, here's an idea:
As a plattform show some actual care and consideration for the majority of your Creators, DON'T blantantly have a double standard for certain creators while ignoring others and improve all the other issues people have callled out over the years; like for example the faulty and easily abusable copyright system. I refuse to pay for youtube Premium to get around the ads because all of those things that added up over the years and CONTINUE to add up and they make me not want to directly financially support RUclips, no matter how much I hate having to sit through all the ads.
RUclips can start by demonatizing SSSniperwolf and I'd consider that a step in the right direction ;)

The only reason I use ad blockers is: RUclips shows ads on videos even when they don't pay a content creator because their content is not aligned with RUclips's politics.
As someone who heavily uses adblock, preventing it's use on RUclips _will not_ make you more money. People like me *DO NOT* want to see ads and if adblock stopped working here we'd move somewhere else to get our entertainment, which is still a raw deal for creators. Even if they're not getting ad rev they're still getting engagement and potential revenue from other sources like merch and you'll lose even that if the adblockers leave.

I'm really happy to see Nina back in the Vtubing scene, but I really wish Nijisanji was like Vshojo in letting talents keep their models cause the cockroach is nice but I really really love her fox mom one and it really sucks that Vtuber model will never be used again. The problems with RUclips's ads are 1: the intrusive nature of the ads, often breaking the immersion/ flow of streams. 2: Possibility of malicious code / redirects or fraudulent content and 3: multiple ads placed on demonetized channels, sending all funds directly to RUclips.
Don't forget, MAX volume even if you don't have the actual volume that high. For some reason all ads are super fucking loud.

On the subject of Dragon Spit, I actually like the middle ground when it comes to monster girls. Dragon Girls should have some scales, but the human eye candy should be there too. My opinion on the adblock issue is that I much prefer the petty squabbling then one side or the other giving up. If RUclips gave up entirely on stopping ad blockers then more people would use them to the point of it becoming a problem.
On the other hand if ad blockers gave up then RUclips's next profit expanding venture would be to increase the length of ads or add more midroll ads just like Twitch.
I generally find that the constant pushback is what causes people to not get to greedy.

For me, Vshojo is not a vtuber agency but a vtuber support agency. There's nothing too strict but they still need to have a standard. It's definitely not easy to just accept 'anyone'.
Adblockers exist for a reason mostly to block scummy, scam, malware and other ads that take up too much space or block the screen
I understand why ads are important but at a certain point it becomes questionable, scummy and makes it harder to use the site
