L4D2 censorship was stupid as it should have been accepted as a MA15+ rated game. When the rating system was updated in the early to mid 2010s to unify the ratings and add an R18+ rating for games the cut content was restored by a free patch (If you were over 18 on steam) and later just updated to be uncensored.
Honestly the devs of the game quite brought nuance to why their own games could get pirated (i may seen a comment that claimed they made their own pirated version) (still i did buy 2 of the hotline miamis, one on steam and the xbox 1 version which is the collection but the collection's assault level is likely worst than the original one)

The Coffin of Andy and Leyley has now been classified and was rated R18+, meaning it's restricted to persons age 18 or older, for "High impact horror themes". On a side note the "Sex" content is classified as "Mild impact". It seems the game was originally rated G, which falsely implied it was suitable for all ages including young children, but that rating was contested and the game was de-listed while it was awaiting verification. So still, never banned.

Something I see literally nobody talking about is that TCOAAL is actually not truly banned in Australia yet. Originally, on the official classification board's site (ACB), the game was rated G for General. However, right around the time the Steam page got blocked, the game's entry was removed from the site. They don't ban games by removing the entry, they ban games by rating them RC for Refused Classification, which TCOAAL has yet to be. The most likely scenario is that the game is temporarily blocked while the ACB reclassifies the game.

Monogatari is my favourite thing ever, so I'm super happy that the anime is returning. 💖🥳 The last scene of Musubimonogatari is my 2nd favourite of all Monogatari so I'm super looking forward to that. Apparently it's happened to others in the past due to uBlock and adblock having some unintended overlap. After a cache purge and update the button disappeared and I had to reinstall uBlock which opened another can of worms that didn't exist before. It's random every time, but in the most extreme cases, uBlock is reporting having to block some 257 elements after opening ONE video. It's insane.
Not just that. RUclips will increase CPU usage artificially if you are not premium by 10%, and if you use ad blockers, CPU usage will increase by a whopping 30%.

Remember the release of L4D2? I do. The australian version was a sham of that game, and there was quite the outrage.

L4D2 censorship was stupid as it should have been accepted as a MA15+ rated game. When the rating system was updated in the early to mid 2010s to unify the ratings and add an R18+ rating for games the cut content was restored by a free patch (If you were over 18 on steam) and later just updated to be uncensored.
They did the same thing with hotline Miami, prompting the dev to permit Australians to pirate it.
Honestly the devs of the game quite brought nuance to why their own games could get pirated (i may seen a comment that claimed they made their own pirated version) (still i did buy 2 of the hotline miamis, one on steam and the xbox 1 version which is the collection but the collection's assault level is likely worst than the original one)

On a side note the "Sex" content is classified as "Mild impact". It seems the game was originally rated G, which falsely implied it was suitable for all ages including young children, but that rating was contested and the game was de-listed while it was awaiting verification.

They don't ban games by removing the entry, they ban games by rating them RC for Refused Classification, which TCOAAL has yet to be. Yeah, I've been having problems with a youtube popup this past week trying to force premium and auto-pausing videos. Apparently it's happened to others in the past due to uBlock and adblock having some unintended overlap. After a cache purge and update the button disappeared and I had to reinstall uBlock which opened another can of worms that didn't exist before. It's random every time, but in the most extreme cases, uBlock is reporting having to block some 257 elements after opening ONE video. It's insane.

We finally got an +R18 classification for games in 2011-13, and nothing really changed despite the average gamer in Aus being ~30yrs old. When it comes to movies they aren't as strict, it's ridiculous. Thanks to videos like this it'll likely get more Aussies attention now. 😄

about the topic of adblockers. I utterly hate ads, not for them existing but that most cannot be skipped after 5 Seconds, they are way too often unrelevant to the video i watch (perfect way to ruin Horror Videos) and they have the length of TV commercials.

The Coffin of Andy and Leyley isn't in the National Classification Database, the Classification Board hasn't even looked at it so it can't been banned. This was trivial to check and it means the dev/publisher pulled it from steam on their own.

It’s so funny because I saw a post someone made (I forgot where or who, don’t want to get a community guideline strike lol) that was saying that shippers nowadays who say “you can’t ship those two, they barely interact together” wouldn’t have survived the 2014 tumblr era of people who shipped Elsa and Jack Frost, or who had them be friends with rapunzel, Merida, and hiccup (I think those were all the characters?). Shipping has become so toxic nowadays, it should be lighthearted and just people saying “I think these two are cute together” regardless of what happens in the canon story

I don't know anything about genshin lore but i'm willing to be that the 'canon lesbian' isn't a canon lesbian at all and there's just like 1 dialogue where she compliments or says she holds respect for another female cahracters and teh fans took it to mean she's obviously carpet muching her behid the cameras.
This isn't even Genshin. That's Star Rail and nowhere is it confirmed that that's a canon ship, cause the lesbian jumpscare was from another game from Hoyoverse namend Honkai Impact 3rd. Star Rail and Honkai Impact are linked through 1 Character, but the characters on the pictures itself are not the same (there liked other version from themself). Where Genshin in this is is still unknown.

I barely know anything about Honkai Impact 3rd, but i seen some things and heard aboutthe original ship is that games version of Bronya and Sellea( i know i spelled it wrong) and now people act like the HSR versions are the same when it felt more like a friend relationship than romantic.
