Also, there's the fact that even in plenty of myths and modern adaptations, dragons have been depicted as shapeshifters. You know, those things that can change their appearances to look like other things, including human women? One of the things that I find most interesting (and cool) about legends about dragons is that they exist in many different forms in many different cultures, and while they may have some characteristics in common, there's actually a rather wide variety of creatures that fall under that category. Not to mention that cows don't actually have boobs either. I mean yeah, they have udders, but those have a distinctly different appearance than human breasts. They're also quadrupedal rather than bidpedal. Strange how she chose to make a bipedal cow model with very human looking booba when she apparently has such issues with inaccurate depictions of the creatures one's model is based on. Especially since the animal her model is based on is actually a real life animal with defined physical characteristics.

Putting aside how ridiculous it is to say that a vtuber model needs to adhere to some kind of strict standard of accuracy regarding the creatures they're based on, I'd argue that boobs make considerably more sense on a dragon than a cow. A dragon is a mythical creature (which in some iterations can shapeshift to take different forms, including human women), whereas cows are actual, real-life creatures with observable physical features. Even if there was some kind of strict accuracy requirement, a mythical creature (especially a shapeshifting one) is far more malleable than a real world creature like a cow.
Shapeshifting is just what dragons do in all media. They are heavily magic infused and thus learning advanced arcane magic is just a necessity for them. Even their breath attacks are magical spells. If they have them because not all dragons do and the ones that don't are even scarier than the ones that do. The better they are at magic the better they become at combat. They don't have family bonds and have heavy individuality as a race. So becoming stronger than anything, even other dragons, is a necessity as well. Basically Dragons go by the same law that changelings do. They can look like literally anything because they can freely choose what they look like even if it doesn't make physical sense. They often look like other lesser races to blend in and are often portrayed as humans.

It kinda feels like jealousy. Dragonspit's model honestly looks pretty and I find the flame tail is a nice touch since it's a dragon theme, but the person insulting her has a generic cow design with clothing that just indicates the character being from a farm. The only "unique" touch is that the spots are a different color from brown or black. Dragonspit's respectful responses vs the cow VTuber's petty responses show which one is the better one to follow tbh if you don't want to be involved with toxicity.

The first sitch - Friend of mine made me aware of it and honestly that was my first every impression of her and I hope I never come across her again in the future. Also, there's the fact that even in plenty of myths and modern adaptations, dragons have been depicted as shapeshifters. You know, those things that can change their appearances to look like other things, including human women? One of the things that I find most interesting (and cool) about legends about dragons is that they exist in many different forms in many different cultures, and while they may have some characteristics in common, there's actually a rather wide variety of creatures that fall under that category.
Not to mention that cows don't actually have boobs either. I mean yeah, they have udders, but those have a distinctly different appearance than human breasts. They're also quadrupedal rather than bidpedal. Strange how she chose to make a bipedal cow model with very human looking booba when she apparently has such issues with inaccurate depictions of the creatures one's model is based on. Especially since the animal her model is based on is actually a real life animal with defined physical characteristics.

Putting aside how ridiculous it is to say that a vtuber model needs to adhere to some kind of strict standard of accuracy regarding the creatures they're based on, I'd argue that boobs make considerably more sense on a dragon than a cow. A dragon is a mythical creature (which in some iterations can shapeshift to take different forms, including human women), whereas cows are actual, real-life creatures with observable physical features. Even if there was some kind of strict accuracy requirement, a mythical creature (especially a shapeshifting one) is far more malleable than a real world creature like a cow.
Shapeshifting is just what dragons do in all media. They are heavily magic infused and thus learning advanced arcane magic is just a necessity for them. Even their breath attacks are magical spells. If they have them because not all dragons do and the ones that don't are even scarier than the ones that do. The better they are at magic the better they become at combat. They don't have family bonds and have heavy individuality as a race. So becoming stronger than anything, even other dragons, is a necessity as well.
Basically Dragons go by the same law that changelings do. They can look like literally anything because they can freely choose what they look like even if it doesn't make physical sense. They often look like other lesser races to blend in and are often portrayed as humans.
This cow ENVYtuber really has to learn it’s not just what you say, but how you say it. Could’ve just said she prefers her dragons in the way she describes, but she really went harsh for no good reason.

Dragonspit's model honestly looks pretty and I find the flame tail is a nice touch since it's a dragon theme, but the person insulting her has a generic cow design with clothing that just indicates the character being from a farm. The only "unique" touch is that the spots are a different color from brown or black.

Well that last guy wanted to make twitter rage bait, and seeing how people are drunking on him in replies and QRTs, I'd say he more or less got what he was looking for.
It really does make me wonder just what exactly he was expecting to happen. How can you intentionally set out to ragebait Twitter and then be caught off guard that you're getting a lot of notifications? Isn't that the entire point to begin with? To get attention by pissing people off so you'll get a tuckfon of angry replies?

I think miss cowgirl was just jealous of how the dragon girl look way better than she does. If the cowgirl didn't want to be attack for what she said, she shouldn't have basically attack Dragonspit's design. All she had to say was "Nah, I pass on this girl. She's not my type." Simple as that. Not trash talk the person's vtuber model's design. But hey, in a way, I want to thank the toxic cowgirl for causing the drama and Rev for bringing attention to this. Cause of this drama, I found a gorgeous dragon girl Vtuber to follow, so thanks for that. 👍 And I feel like I'm not the only one. I feel like there is going to be plenty of others that are going to go support Dragonspit cause of this and heck I hit smash for her Vtuber model.

Dragons, while mostly being conceived as having reptilian traits such as scales and a serpentine body shape, have had traits of other types of animals in culture for centuries like bat wings and antlers/horns. Medieval bestiaries even depict dragons as looking like birds with cat heads.

The thing about about apologies is they're not mandatory. You're not going to be judged if you don't apologize. If you truly don't feel sorry for any of what you did don't even TRY to apologize. You just gonna look bad because of it.

And it's a particularly good idea not to follow up an unapologetic apology by claiming that the video was completely out of context and edited to make it sound like you were talking about the thing on screen when you were totally for realzies just commenting on a completely different (yet by description, seemingly identical) thing, and then - after someone else involved in the video confirms that there were no edits and nothing else being shared during the event - proceed to throw out another "apology" where you try to drag everyone else that was involved into it by saying "we were being shitheads" as if you weren't pretty much the only one saying the things people are pissed off about.
as someone who is friends with the "dragon" vtuber. I'm so glad this was covered. This is just another example of "we need to be better." Spitty deserved none of that and most of the others have stepped up and apologized. Just stupid that this happened.

Going through the replies of that clip Dragonspit posted, that cow VTuber pretty much killed any shot of growing by way of linking up with other bigger names. There were a handful of VTubers I recognized and now they all have reason to never want to interact with that cow VTuber, even if it's so much as leaving a reply on some random tweet they make

call me gatekeeping, but vtubers are based on anime culture, in which animal or monster themed vtubers are always depicted as humanoid (not Anthropomorphic like those vtubers), they are pretending to be vtubers

To be fair, if she isn't the type of V-tuber to get bent out of shape and try to cancel people over their opinions then I would go so far as to say that the cow is just being based and leave it at that.

The first sitch - Friend of mine made me aware of it and honestly that was my first every impression of her and I hope I never come across her again in the future. She strikes me as some one who has some kind of mental condition and knowingly uses it as a shield to get away with things she knows isn't acceptable. Not saying that's the case, just my impression based on how she said things.
As for the second guy - I fell for his stupidity hook line and sinker, and I am kicking myself that I did. But also my first impression of him, and for obvious reasons not favorable either.
