Noe is one of those directors who produce a film that's not totally un-rewatchable, but you have to really want to emerge yourself into his vision if you do. I liked this film, but Irreversible is my favorite from him.... so harrowing. I only watched it once, but I'm pretty sure that was his intention. He's definitely an artist who's not afraid of a divided audience😂.
@DylanAnglin_ I have to say 'no' on that, Dylan. I'm still interested to hear what you think about it, but I thought Irreversible's point was to tell a story in a reverse timeline. It may be interesting (it is Gaspar, after all).
Gasper is in that "auteur" range of directors that just do not appeal to me. I'm glad his works exist for those who are drawn to his visceral style though. Thank you for a candid review Dylan.
