Lovely to see you Allie, I always look forward to your videos. I never keep my toothbrushes plugged in. I know a lot of people do, but then that creates messy bases and horrible trailing cables in the bathroom. Instead, the toothbrushes go away in the bathroom cabinet (less clutter on the side and they're not exposed to bathroom nasties) We use them easily for a week or even longer on a single charge and then just charge them up when they need it. The chargers just live tucked away in a drawer until needed. This maintains the batteries well, our brushes are over 5 years old each, and we have no issues doing this, but the big plus is no cables in the bathroom - yippee.
Hey Allie!! That shiny sink in the kitchen almost blinded me! After months of following you, I am so glad you now realize the joy of morning walk into a kitchen that has a sink ready for action!! No matter the frequency or content, I always hope to find a new Domestic Wannabe video. Thanks gal! You've got this.
So glad to finally have a visit with you! Covid hit our house and I was in bed for 2 weeks. My mom actually had to be admitted to the hospital. She is just now home, but we have home health coming in to do her physical therapy. Covid is not good for someone who already has congestive heart failure! She is so weak! Love the shiny sink! You're awesome.
Oh that hydrogen peroxide was a great idea! And I'll have to try adding my onions after the meat is mostly cooked. I think they cook too long and lose their bite. I love watching your 4 legged helpers join you in cleaning. I'll double check with my niece if she remembers what my sister did to finally get her tub jets clean. She had the same issue. Yay! for donating all those clothes. Even if clothes fit and are in good shape, if they no longer fit in our new lives or maybe have bad memories around them, it might be time to bless someone else! Impressed by your decluttering once again.
Thank you so much Ellen! It felt good to get rid of those clothes. For whatever reason I had them in the closet thinking they were seasonal and I would need them. When I sat on the floor and looked at them, I thought I have no need for any of these! Oh and the last trip I took I couldn't find any of the skirts because I forgot they were in that closet! So pointless to have them in there!
I think your bathroom cleaning technique is fine. I think maybe rethinking how you organize your countertop could help. I have a tiny 24” vanity in my current house so I had to get very tough on myself about what I can actually keep out. It made me rethink how much I buy and how much I allow myself to store. But a relatively clear counter means I can wipe my counter nearly every day (I keep a roll of paper towels on my counter so after each shower, while everything is all steamed up, I wipe the surfaces of the toilet from cleanest areas to dirtiest areas then use another paper towel to wipe down my vanity and faucet). And girl there is nothing wrong with butter. It’s a natural fat and your body knows what to do with it as opposed to margarine or industrial cooking oils that are trash fro your body. Eat that butter and don’t feel guilty!
Paper towel! Such a great idea! And, you are so right I have to get a bit pickier with what I keep out! I am re-decluttering the bathroom soon! I am also loving your thoughts on butter! Because I do love butter WAY more than that other stuff too! Thank you so much for watching!
Quick tip. Take one of those round cotton rounds, use scissors, cut an x in the middle and put it on the bottom of the toothbrush charger. I totally have a pillow preference and i need a knew one. I like them thinner, when they are floofy i feel like my neck is out, but now my pillow is too thin 😆 Theres always a clothing disaster on vacations. I now do the opposite forgetting something, not packing enough or the right thing. The last one we went on i literally split my jeans in the crotch climbing up into a jeep. Literally heard the riiiiiip and started laughing. Do not recommend old navy jeans, though my butt helped im sure. All i had was leggings with me and it was too cold to wear them alone. So i put them on under and walked around like i was in a tight snowsuit. So then of course my husband had to push me up into the jeep cause everything was so tight. We were dying laughing. Of course i came across a pair of shoes i wanted to try on when we were out.

Oh my goodness!!! Sending you and your mom hugs! I am so glad she is home, I hope you all feel better quick! Healing thoughts going your way! ❤️❤️
I use the Lysol power toilet bowl cleaner gel for hard water ! I works amazingly!

It’s a shame what hard water does. Have you thought about a softener system? When you cleaned the tub jets, did you use a product specific for that?
She already has a water softener. She mentioned it when she was cleaning the tub in the bathroom.
❤️👍🏻
