Oh, thank you very much for your kind words. It inspires us to put efforts into filming and making videos. We’re always late on the track because of videoing lol 😂

Thank you! 🙏 That's the main idea behind these 'Experience It Raw' series 🏞️. We've done some other walks and climbs in the same style 🏔️. Just have a look at the playlist 👉 ruclips.net/p/PLfXhigI1-uIqqr1a5cZACSAqRpxZ7zocP&si=1cyriDtbo4JEQbfC

I loved watching this. In my young days I completed that climb twice, along with other nearby peaks on 4 or 5 treks up to Barker. Alas I won't get there again on my old knees and hips, but it was delightful to watch your video. It bought back wonderful memories. I really liked it that you used a calm soundtrack with no macho hero bullshit. Regards from Nick Hancox.

Hey, lovely! 😊 Very happy to serve as an inspiration for you! That's our goal: to empower simple people with office jobs, who've never been accustomed to the outdoors, to reach new peaks! 🏔️

hi there, I absolutely love your videos! I'm a 16 y/o based in auckland who wishes to get into mountaineering but with the costs of courses being so high has made this dream quite challenging. I am looking for mentors to introduce me to this sport and if this is something that interests you please let me know! im hoping to do some beginner routes these school holidays such as ruapehu/tarnaki, or some more advanced routes down south such as mt barff, mt brewster, or mount aspiring even! please let me know if you're interested, love your videos!, thanks

Hey, thanks so much for your kind words. If our videos inspire you, then we’ve reached our goal! Our main aim is to encourage others who haven’t yet experienced the amazing spirit of the mountains.
As for getting started, it would be fantastic for you to first join the local section of the NZAC. There’s so much to learn before heading into the mountains, and some of the peaks you mentioned require experience and steady growth in skills. It’s important not to jump ahead, as rushing can increase the risk of injuries or other issues.
What's your background-have you had any tramping experience before? Are you planning on going to university? Auckland Uni has a great tramping club with plenty of activities to help you build a solid foundation. These first steps can be challenging since you'll likely be learning through trial and error, but the experience is invaluable.
We’re happy to share tips and our own experiences. Keep at it, stay consistent, and enjoy every step of the journey!
