Wow… it has it all… the sea, proximity to a major road, changes in elevation, rich history and architecture, a tail-less cat, a convertible 500, flowers everywhere, perfectly located restaurants and bars, the sanpietrini… it needs a few Pandas, but surely that can be arranged! Hugo, oh.... lol I laughed hard at the tail-less cat, LOL, didn't even remember it. The 500 was stunning here... remember it like ysterday. it's a gem for the "connoisseurs" then as they say - sometimes I am troubled by this... is it better to preserve these towns like they are now, so untouristic, or is that not good for the economy of these towns itself? Or... is the nature of these towns in danger of being alienated from its history and surrounding if they become popular? It's a tradeoff I suppose

I haven't visited le Marche, but from descriptions of people who have, it's a beautiful area. Probably not as many foreign tourists, more local. From your video, Grottammare is certainly beautiful. People seem to take pride in their houses, love the house with the blue door and windows. Also the blue Fiat. They must want to complement the colour of the sea. Keep walking and sharing, Riccardo 🤗
Geraldine! Always happy to see you back here) Region Marche is a region quite unknown to me as well, and I’m starting to discover it this year. Somehow less touristy but at the same time once can find corners full of them. A strange mix. Grottammare was very cute, a nice discovery I must say; liked very much the alley with the Vespas too. Nice. Atmpshere all around. I filmed some other neaarby towns and with time … slowly slowly I’ll edit them) Thank you as always for your encouragement Geraldine; always appreciated!

Thanks for another breathtaking town. Central Italy is one the jewels of Italy. The towns are all different in character. Grottammere is beautiful as it seats at the Adriatic coast. Most coastal towns are kept beautiful to attract tourists, it's definitely a tourist towns. I enjoyed video very much.
Dear Esther, agreed with you on this; central Italy is WAY overlooked for many reasons I won’t mention again here to bother … but you and me know them. Unfortunately many hidden gems are overlooked for the sake of the most famous and posh places. Lots of depopulating towns which. , in my very little, I hope to make a little justice to.Perhaps Grottammare isn’t specifically one of those, but it’s overlooked for sure. Nice town, very well kept, cosy, tidy. A shame the churches were kept closed though, for some reasons. But indeed, a tourists’ town. Not so crowded but maybe it’s a plus. GROTTAMMARE, nella regione meno conosciuta delle Marche. Con una magnifica vista della celeste sciarpa di seta del mare Adriático, sotto l'altro celeste oceano del cielo. Abbastanza nudo mattone in questa città medievale. Amo la pietra di queste città durature, in netto contrasto con le nostre fragili vite. Il disegno delle piante si esalta in mezzo a questi stretti vicoli. I gatti, che incrosiano sempre il percorso di Riccardo, adornano come sculture viventi. L'albero dell'arancio non poteva essere perpetuato cosi ben frequentato, ogni anno, al centro del Teatro dell'arancio. Le bottiglie di vino esposte sulla facciata di una casa ricordano il piccolo altare con le loro divinità domestiche, proprio come quelle usate dagli Etruschi o dagli antichi Romani. Il colore della Fiat 500 si armonizza perfettamente con il colore del mare Adriatico e del cielo di Grottammare. Anche godersi le spiagge di Grottammare deve essere molto piacevole.
