  • A three hinged parabolic arch has a span of 20m and central rise of 4m. It carries two concentrated loads of 20KN & 32KN at a distance of 3m & 7m respectively from the left support and an uniformly distributed load ( udl ) of 20KN/m over the right half portion. Determine the reactions & resultant reactions at the supports and also find the moment, normal thrust and radial shear at a section 5m from the left support. Also find maximum positive bending moment.
