@@shresthasworld3274 TKD has different styles and organizations. The two main ones being ITF (really there's, iirc, 3 or 4 of them) and the WTF. So it's possible you're part of a different one than that in the video.

Unknown person yeah tbh like a reverse back kick or something to counter the rush. I’m 10 I started at 3 and I’ve been in tournaments and most kids rush so you can hit them with a sidekick or 180 back kick when they go in
You do know they’re both about six or seven? When I competed in tournaments at that age I had no idea what to do either, there’s no strategy at that age it’s just the most aggressive fighter wins.

I do understand what you were saying, couldn't say less cus of the fact I participated when I was 10 at Claude Robillard( I think this is what its called cus it been maybe 5 years I haven't been in the tournament due to lack of motivation). I wasn't so maturely myself a year ago so I'm gonna say this. when I was 10 I didn't win by being aggressive but always doing the moves that my teacher taught me( combo's, faints and other kicks), for example, to keep my distance I would always use the high kick to make my opponent back off( i would not use high kick to attack cus that's dumb and unbalance your combat position). And to attack I would always wait for that one precise moment to strike( its when your opponent strikes and then you dodge it, afterward you strike). I don't know why I said all that doesn't really matter cus you pretty much are right but also no cus when you try being aggressive you get tired really quickly and the judge would look into your performance and also the hitpoints you did. I'm not bragging but that was how I won. I was taught by my teacher and also strickly by my parents( you do not wanna know how strict they were with me before)
Michael Anthony Yap This is ITF Taekwondo, it's not the same as WTF taekwondo, I do ITF Taekwondo also. First of all the armor is the gloves, feet and head protector and punches are allowed on the face. whereas in WTF Taekwondo, the armor is the chest, feet and head protectors, but no punches to the face are allowed since it's Olympic style, if you don't believe me, search up ITF Taekwondo. You should look for facts before saying something. Just saying man.
Michael Anthony Yap I know you do WTF Taekwondo, because I see that you're also a black belt, which is good but also in this video, the ITF Taekwondo never has a scoreboard, it depends on 4 judges on what they observe, when time goes out, they pick either blue or red. If most judges choose either one of them colors, then that color wins. It's not the same as WTF taekwondo, and even the forms are different in ITF, which in ITF they're called Patterns instead of forms
