This looks soooo good! I'm definitely going to try out the piping technique when you put all the colors frosting in one piping bag. I've never thought about doing that but it looks so great! Thank you so much for sharing :)
Hiya.I'm based in the UK and I'm very new to baking. You make it look easy! I was wondering if you could let me know if the flour you have used is self raising or plain/all purpose?I did read through the comments but didn't see anything that said what kind it was. Thanks (and amazing cakes).😊
best one I have seen so far! Shall try and make it too! Best friend is leaving the country and want to make a unicorn cake with a hidden rainbow :) haha thanks for sharing!
I think the way she made the rainbow cake is very nice because one day I'm going to bake the cake that she made when I move to another house and I'm going take her lessons on making cakes and tutorials making it thank you so much
Hello ! this cake looks devine ! can"t wait to try it .i have a question that i always ask to myself whenever i watch videos of cakes made with buttercream.can we put some syrop on the cake to make it tast moister ?? as what we do with the black forest for example..it always seems to me that the cakes would taste dry even with the cream, no ?? if we use a syrop, can it ruin the cake ?? and a big hello from Casanlanca, Morocco !
Hey +Nowara84, yes you can definitely use syrup on these cakes. It will do it some good under the buttercream :) Thanks for the comment! happy baking xx
Rosie's Dessert Spot I had a lot of trouble baking this cake. I guess since it was my first time baking in a 5 inch cake tin. I put the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and baked for over an hour, yet the middle was still completely undone but the top half was done and even getting a but crisp. Help please thank you:)
Hey TheSherryberry101, that's no good. Has this happened before with other cakes as well? (sorry if you receive 2 replies from me, i left one on the youtube app but now that I am on desktop, it doesn't seem to have come through). I am wondering also what oven settings you used? fan force for example? and how much batter was in the tin at the time? (too much batter can take longer to cook and the top can crisp quickly). Maybe try baking in 2 separate tins or covering the cake in foil if it's still not cooked through and leave in the oven for another 10 mins. I found this article as well which might help: www.goodtoknow.co.uk/recipes/538495/whats-wrong-with-my-cake-10-common-baking-problems-fixed let me know how you go!
hi Ms. Rosie.. is it really brown all over when u make it as cupcake.. my rainbow colors didn't show so disappionting coz I really love doing rainbow cakes and cupcakes.. pls give advice .thanks
Very beautiful and colorful. Idk if you're going to read this but I'd like to request a Valentines Day dessert. Like mini cake ones or idk.. Lol haha I just like to plan ahead.
Thank you for your comment and for your request +HeyItsMaxim :D That's a brilliant idea. I will be making a Valentines day something, but mini cakes sound awesome.
Rosie's Dessert Spot so i tired making this cake i put the oven at 350 degrees fahrenheit and after 50 minutes the top have was cooked but the bottom half is totally under cooked but if I put it back in the oven the top have will over cook. the inside is completely not done and I am not sure what to do thanks? Do you think I did something wrong?
I love your Videos! But i've got a question. What is that metall thing called you put under the hot water to smooth out the frosting? I'm not a native speaker so i'm struggeling to understand unknown words! ':D
Layla Porter you can do that if you like. the cake was nice and smooth on the edges, so there weren't any loose crumbs at all. And even if there were they would get lost with all the sprinkles ;) but you can definitely do the crumb coat as well if you want to be safe.
Rosie I used this recipe ( I am in Australia too ) and used gel colours and I just took the cakes out of the oven I baked two 6" and they are brown and I am pretty sure inside too why did it happen ? I bake all the time but this was first time for me to bake coloured cake lol so frustrated now
Update I baked this cake without the colouring and still brown even the inside too No cake in my life turned out bad wonder if it's something else meaning causing the browning hmmmm
I tried using your cream cheese frosting recipe and it came out so runny. :(. It tastes fantastic, but I can’t pipe with it. I tried adding more sugar, I tried chilling it but nothing worked.
Hey nor raihan ramli, the recipe is in the description box just under this video. If you are watching from a computer, the description box is under where it says "add to, share, more". Click on "SHOW MORE" and the full recipe can be found there :)

Rosie I enjoy your video's. How deep are your cake tins? They appear to be quit deep, not the standard 2 or 3 inches.
I think I've just died and gone to heaven!
Rosie, is this the recipe you used to every cake you make?
nice and fun cake.
+Naomi Haugh324 thank you!
Do you sprinkle your cakes with simple syrup? I believe that's what's it's called.
What kind of sprinkles did you use? They look so tiny.
For larger "spirals" in the cake, would you just add grater amounts of batter each time? Instead of 1 tbsp, maybe two or three?
Hey +CamoPrincess, yes that's right :)
pls tell me what kind of cream cheese you use in your cakes
thank you Rosie
Amazing.God bless you
How many days can you let the cake sit before it goes bad? Thanks! Rosie's Dessert Spot
Hey TheSherryberry101, the cake has a 3 day shelf life :)
Rosie's Dessert Spot i mean some might svn say 5, but I would go with 3 just to be safe.
Hey Sherryberry101, it sounds like it's the oven that might be the problem. Does this happen with other cakes that you have baked? Sounds odd :-S
Amazing 😍😍😍😍😍 and yummy😛😛😛😛😛😛
+Jean Raymond thank you!!
hi i know you wont reply to this but what flour did you use - plain or self raising
btw love your work
I love your Videos!
But i've got a question. What is that metall thing called you put under the hot water to smooth out the frosting? I'm not a native speaker so i'm struggeling to understand unknown words! ':D

What about your crumb coat and then u put it into the fridge
Layla Porter you can do that if you like. the cake was nice and smooth on the edges, so there weren't any loose crumbs at all. And even if there were they would get lost with all the sprinkles ;) but you can definitely do the crumb coat as well if you want to be safe.

Hello, primero mezcló los secos y después agregó lo demás? no entendí esa parte gracias
we're are the eggs ?? I don't see what is your method to mix please can you post the complete recipe
there are no eggs in this recipe at all, the vinegar and baking soda negate the need for eggs
I tried using your cream cheese frosting recipe and it came out so runny. :(. It tastes fantastic, but I can’t pipe with it. I tried adding more sugar, I tried chilling it but nothing worked.
