i've started listening to phil elverum only since last year. i feel like i have lost so much in my life. like just listen to how his emotions are coming out of his mouth this is fucking magic , what a voice ,man, i'd give all i have to see him perform. but its unlikely he'll come to europe :(

This being stated, the moon is about an ex girlfriend, and moon sequel is just a follow up of the same girl. The Glow Pt 2 is a masterpiece and Dawn is the follow up, where phil despite his desperate attempts is still drowning in his sadness.

Phil Elverum is a reason in itself that I wish I was a 2000s teen that ventured through indie albums....
he comes to europe fairly often, I don't know if this is of any help to you know, but there's a microphones tour in europe this november
