There are a lot of people asking for a studio recording. Please subscribe to this channel, or follow my Instagram @clef23trombone for updates. This is going to be a lot of work, and there are people I need to consult / hoops to jump through before this happens. No promises, but I'll do my best.
For all those asking, this was filmed in a VHS-C (basically like a Hi-8, my buddy Jake said).
Thank you all so much for the positive responses. It really warms my heart to see how stoked people were on this video. I'm so happy to share something that's been so impactful to others.
I want to give thanks to the University of Toronto Jazz / Classical Hybrid Ensemble for all contributing their musical tastes / expertise to this arrangement. Without these wonderful musicians, it wouldn't be nearly as cool as it is.

I only started to do this arrangement / write my own music after I decided against pursuing a career in orchestral trombone. I just do this sorta stuff for myself / whenever I feel like it. You're not late, you're right on time :)

@@6amianI played trombone in HS too… I’m fucking 25, what do you think I’m going to randomly start playing a trombone alone? Any trombone player who is grown and doesn’t play will say that same thing UNLESS they live somewhere with a lot of amateur musicians, but for someone that’s been out of high school and hasn’t been playing recently would have an almost impossible journey to one day play with a real orchestra Just saying.

I remember being a freshman in high school trying to put all my friends onto this band and music and no body would bat an eye or even consider it “good music” it’s great to see it’s amassed such a diverse and large following all these years later.
Moral of this post is have your own personality and don’t just follow trends because things are GREAT from the day they are created not just because some algorithms or apps decide to make them GOOD don’t be a tool.

Since the first time I heard this riff it was always my favorite sequence in any song. It really is the climax of an already incredible song and will always be the best combination of guitar notes in my head

as a genuine title fight fan and former trumpet player, i will be coming back to this video often.
This feels like looking back on a christmas as a child, everything so colorful and perfect and missing it all so much before we all grew up and things got complicated, this geniinely started to bring tears to my eyes.

this is so great. sounds a lot like black country new road, yet it's own thing completely. really want a studio recording of it, but it may just kill the vibe. it's one of the rare times when "cover" can be on the level of original, maybe because of how different, yet similar it is. keep doing it, the world needs more music like this.
Hi I just want to say that this was the first video that popped up in my recommended and watched once I got home from the hospital after a nearly fatal injury, and something about sitting and watching/listening to this whole arrangement not long after such a life changing scenario really moved me. The original song is beautiful and moving enough but this is a whole new level.

This is beautiful. It’s crazy the exposure title fight gets now when ten years ago when I got into them they where basically underground. I had the chance to see them twice, but I couldn’t miss work as I worked 3rd shift at a small bakery here in Kenosha Wisconsin. I regret it very much so.
