  • Hello everyone, watch me make, 24 printable, flashcards, using Canva element shapes. This is my latest video on how I designed a digital download with eBook cover. These are 24 printable flashcards, in my own, CHamoru/CHamorro native language of Guam. I will show you an example of how I use element shapes feature within Canva.
I feel great! That I finally, completed my first educational flashcards using my own original illustrations. For those who are not illustrators, I will show you how to select images/graphics to create your very own flashcards.
Next, I will show you how to save your printable digital download as a PDF for RGB printing for home. Optional, CMYK format for professional printing. I will share, how I test my hyperlinks and make sure all flashcards look great before printing.
Lastly, Watch Me! print then cut, all 24 flashcards. Then I will show you my complete flashcards set. Learn my Guam native language with me. I will speak each random CHamoru/Chamorro word out loud.
Thank you for watching my latest video right here on "Jenny Chamorrita" don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel. More videos coming soon.

Hi Janet, I love your videos step by step. How do you print the cover on the flash card box? Does the flashcards come with a box? I am.also thinking to sell them as a physical product as well as digital. Do you sell yours only as digital? Thank you

I am a new subscriber of yours. Loved the video and clean explanation. One question, What is that machine called that you used to shape the corners of your cards?
    Looking forward for your response

Thanks for subbing! Yes, the hand held "Paper Corner Cutter" is by "We R Memory Keepers." You can find these at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. I hope this helps.

Thank you for this video. It was very helpful.
What is the name of the stuff you use to clip the ends of the card?

It's a paper corner cutter for cardstock. You can find these at Hobby Lobby or Joann's and any other craft stores. More industrious type, heavy duty with lever for cutting stacks, are sold on Amazon. Hope this helps.

Hello Maria, my canvas size in Procreate App is 3000x3000 pixels. I save it as PNG, and upload/send to cloud storage called Dropbox, and then upload my illustrations to Canva. I hope this helps.

Hi, glad to help. I am currently using Epson Eco-Tank ET 8550. In my past video, I was using Canon Pixma. But the Epson Ecotank ET 8550 is made to handle extra heavy weight cardstock. 300gsm/110lb, and posterboards as well. Eco-tank inks last long while. This is what I use now. Hope this helps.

Hello, I used 110lb (300GSM) Extra Heavy Weight Cardstock from "The Paper Studio". I purchased from Hobby Lobby. They sell these regularly. I hope this helps.

@@jennychamorrita Do you know of any good manufacturers? Or do you know the best way to find any? I've had no good luck at all.

Are you able to print a design on the
    back ?

Hello Aleisha. Yes it can be done. Since, this is just made from home. In future production, I can add design on back for more professional and quality look to send to manufacture.
