The problem I have with this is if you have a really big base you have to have like 10 generators that you have to keep filling I would rather have the cables and outlets avialable to use even if it's not necessary to use them.

the only thing they could do with now is a transformer or something that provides a smaller radius but only placeable with in the radius of the generator or each other you so then you can extend power to where you need it if your base is larger than the generators max range with out building multiple generators
You can have up to three in an area so if you place them carefully. For PvP it will be an issue re turrets but I tend to put all my electrical things in the one area

What exactly is the point of the tek generator in survival ascended besides powering tek stuff? The main draw for the tek generator in survival: evolved for me was the wireless power feature. Not having to hide power boxes and not having to deal with the ugly wires connecting electronics to them. Now that both provide wireless power is there any reason to use the tek generator outside of powering tek equipment?

I hate the sound of the generator constantly running so I always built it a decent bit away n used cables into the base.. guess that’s not an option anymore or is there any way to extend the range from the generator 🤔

You need the fabricator to make it so it will have to Hmmmm to have gasoline it run the fab. After it’s made I didn’t test the fan I’ll have to check and can get back to you

Well you are really only limited to 3 in an area. So I can see the struggle. I kept all my power items together. in one area.

Massive range advantage would be my guess as there is a limit to 3 regular gens in a given radius

I definitely try and do research and keep it short I hate time being wasted. Most water Dino’s eggs don’t need an AC or they are live births

Wish they used the outlets to link the generators to distant items like water tanks do for water

Oh dear your base must be huge. Maybe consider moving the electrical items closer together. I understand your frustration though

My guess is bigger range because the range of this is fixed and max 3 in one area. The other is powering tek items. This is pretty fancy

The new generator is definitely more quiet than in ASE. I’d you want to extend the range you need more than one generator

Can you extend the range of the generator like you can the water by using a water reservoir tank? Are outlets still a thing?
outlets are not needed and there is no range extender but you can have three in an area near you to make slightly larger bubble
