You all are missing the emphasis of the message.
The emphasis is that you don’t receive from God because you recite the “word of God” in prayer, you receive when you believe and then speak what the Word of God has said about you in prayer.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. When we continually recite the word of God in prayers, it slowly forms a consciousness in our hearts, which then strengthens our faith in order to receive what we ask of (which God has already provided even before we pray).
So at the end of the day (which is Dr. Damian’s point), the Word of God recited in prayers is not for God, but for you, and it is useless if you don’t believe it.
Most times, Dr. Damina doesn’t address the other sides to these things and that’s why people are quick to cherrypick and tag his messages as “heresy”.

Faith is truly essential and God is the answerer of prayer. That he stopped from his work does not mean we will not ask him stuff as our heavenly father just like that because people have been saved from the beginning of the world does not stopped preaching. To me, within godly constraints, your method of prayer is not as important as your receiving. The guy that cried and received is better that the one that spoke confidently and received not. Hmmm....what is pastor Abel saying again? Too much light can damage the eyes. This is confusing and misleading.
Why will i not pray with scriptures when i actually draw revelation through the scriptures. Psalm 138:2 ...... thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
He talked about repeating prayers, does it mean Jesus also was wrong in Matthew 26:42-44?
At verse 44 the Bible say Jesus repeated the same prayer the third time.
What is going on?
One day, i just thought to my self that even Jesus' teachings were not ambiguous, then why cant we keep it simple as we preach or teach, especially for Christ sake😂😂

This is a mad mans teaching....he contradicts even himself ,,forgeting that everytime he prays he uses scriptures...anyone who prays quoting "in Jesus name" uses scripture..john 14:13..."anything you ask in my name i will do"...why then does he pray in Jesus name ...let him use his name then

@@themessagechannel1 i think you are the one who needs to watch and listen well to the video....check and listen to the clip @2mins and 43 seconds.....he says clearly.....that "you dont need scriptures to back up your prayers".....wrong teaching has no other definition.....its just false teaching....yet he uses the name of Jesus everytime he prays which is a scripture...john 14:13..."whatever you ask in my name i will do"...why does he use the name of Jesus to pray if he says we dont need scripture to back up our prayers????? If we pray according to his will and if not for our selfish interest God hears us.Oga,we need the word of God in prayer if not so even a thief can pray for success before a mission and it will work.what you are preaching is faith in your self not in God😂😅😂😂😂.
