Couple ideas for you. First, I think you should add some rules around your $1000 shopping spree including ones that you have. My ideas include 1 EDC, 1 Fixed Blade, 1 Gentleman's Knife, and 2 knives of the user's choice. I think it would be a great addition to your channel to ask users to use Knife Joy to participate in the shopping spree idea and submit screen shots of their cart to you and you could review/comment on user's selections as part of your series. I really like your shopping spree idea, please keep the excellent reviews, comparisons, and informative videos coming!

Not sure of 5 knives but the top 2 would include a Malibu and some form of an XM18 slicer.
I think with (someone else's) $1000, I'd be tempted to try things I've never handled before rather than picking knives I know "fit" my needs. (And it would probably take me much, much longer than 15 minutes to do it). :)

This was more a state of the knife world type video. It’s sad but exiting times in the knife world. Sad because things are hard to find. Exciting because when you do find something it’s like a small jackpot.
Keizer sheep dog McGee, ZT O562, BM 550 custom, spyderco para 3lw spy 27, Kershaw leek, hope there’s no sales tax or shipping easy choices, thinking these would be my only 5 and giving all my currant knifes away. Easy had to replace some of those I gave away.honorable mention Para 3 in k390. And Nirvana if it was still available. List would change if I kept all the knifes I own.
I picked up the knifejoy para 2 in 20cv with green scales and it's an awesome awesome knife. Great looking with a hell of a blade

@@2873lonewolf it's a great knife. The para 3 maxamet is amazing. The spyopera is amazing Delica 4 in 20cv is amazing. The smock in m4. I really like Spyderco. They are in my top 5 easily

Cool vid with fun format. Here's my picks.... I liked the Spyderco Chef but I'd buy the cold steel mini recon 1 for the beater then a peni knives for the gents carry after that the 5 th pocket would be a real steel Luna Ti.

Hey Slicey, have you checked out the Olight Drever? Just saw they added a knife to their offerings. After doing some research, I found that Yeu Don with Kizer made a post on instagram about it being a collaboration with Kizer. Right now it is $52 and change on the Olight store website. Thought I would mention it to see if you would do a review.
