When Vivek said he would model his presidency on Reagan administration he got my attention. I don’t understand how more republicans don’t try to model their campaigns and their plans on the success of Reagan. When you win reelection by winning 49 out of 50 states that is who you should be looking for inspiration. The republicans could hold every branch of government if model the party on Reagan.

This goes for anyone. Take what is said verbally, and transcribe those words and read them - it's a lot of garbled words. Business people in executive roles hire people that will infer conceptual ideas that are actionable from that garble. It's called the "executive garble effect", and Vivek coming from "business" has done just that. The reason why he wont be president is because there are enough people that are looking for consistency in things that are translatable to something of actionable change, but cant do it. Unfortunately, debates are just a joke today because it's about who can "garble" better.
