I don't think that any of this is coming from within the Labour Party. It seems more likely that there is a single lobbyist faction that can influence both the media and political parties to ensure that only an illusion of choice exists for the voter. Otherwise how could both the media and the Labour right be pushing the same anti Corbyn agenda using the same methodology?

This smear campaign against Mr. Jeremy Corbyn, showed just how powerful he was becoming with the people. They just had to obliterate him, and his Hope's, plans, and way of connecting people. I for one, am bitterly, angrily, disappointed, but not surprised, that it's taken this long to get to the truth, and that journalists, aren't covering it. Thank you for bringing more exposure to this matter. Anyone who has followed his career, actually observed the man's actions as well as listened to his words; and possessing a modicum of sense, could see the man was being stitched up like a proverbial kipper. We live in an age of profound and extended narcissism where the bullies and liars always seem to win, and masses of people allow themselves to be controlled by filthy rags that aren't even fit to line a cat litter, but everything must change. The 2017 and 2018 parliamentary reports clearly show less AS in Labour compared to the Tory Party, UKIP and society in general. It also clearly shows AS was reduced under Corbyn. The Home Affairs Select Committee of Parliament held an inquiry into antisemitism in the UK in the same year and found "no reliable, empirical evidence to support the notion that there is a higher prevalence of antisemitic attitudes within the Labour Party than any other political party". Oborne says he should have been more careful on his assessment on Corbyn's approach to the alleged anti-semitism within the Labour Party. Well he would say that now that Corbyn is not the leader of the Labour Party and far away from the keys of No.10. The Labour files and the purging of credible prospective left leaning candidates should be exemplars for why you should not vote for this party at the next general election. The absence of a plural British media just feeds into the murky machinations of party politics.

And the reason for not allowing Corbyn to stand as MP in future is what? At the time we were being called thugs if you were a member of momentum. Jewish people were being called antisemitic if they supported corbyn. Our media is so biased. AJ is a great news channel, with great reporting. I was in the official labour FB group and they were completely against corbyn and they were vicious. There was so much bigotry and hatred being spewed towards Corbyn supporters and I, along with a lot of other people left. And I joined some pro corbyn groups, that included lots of professionals, teachers, doctors, probation officers, social workers etc. Who were all very nice and very aware of social policy and there was no bigotry. People would talk about issues without the name calling. I knew starmer was a snake and that he doesn't respect democracy, labour members or workers.

Peter makes some very valid points. The country really needs a valid alternative to a morally bankrupt government, instead of which it appears the Labour party has made the same mistake as the Tory's. It's more concerned with the Labour party than the country and the electorate that it is supposed to serve. I'll be damned if I vote for another bunch of self serving hypocrites though I abhor the Conservative party with a passion.

@@baronburch6702 A government that claims to represent and serve the entire population denies the reality of politics, and plays a very dangerous game in so doing, because the conflict and repression that is central to any economic or governmental system will exist whether it is openly acknowledged or not. Trying to obscure it behind concepts such as the common good, supposedly neutral rules, peace and order, sound economics or any other universal concept does not make that reality go away. In fact, by laying claim to the right to represent the common good of the whole of humanity, a government dehumanises its enemies by default: they must not be part of humanity by that logic. And governments always have enemies because there are always conflicting interests, competing bases of power, and the potential for violent force to be used. Government is a monopoly on violence (or the potential for violence) with which one subpopulation subjugates another subpopulation. And you cannot abolish this defining feature of government. The only thing you can do is to distribute political power as widely as possible among as many sections of the population as possible.

Not being able to vote Labour takes the choice out of my hands of voting either for a party i supported that has destroyed any humanity it had or for a another party thus possibly helping to usher in a Tory gov't again. The current Labour leadership have knowingly created this situation at the optimal time where Labour voters are pretty much being emotionally blackmailed by the party itself into voting for it in order to stave of another catastrophic Tory gov't. If Labour voters to go elsewhere you can rest assured the party will point the finger at them instead of admitting any wrong doing.
