Yeah it’s a good spot. I’ve fished there when I was a kid. I just started to explore the Kank backwaters. This is my first time out in this video Epic Topwater Battles on the Kankakee: Whopper Ploppers, Frogs & The One That Got Away! ruclips.net/video/RuIpfjJLCK8/видео.html
So I thought it was 2 for the longest time as well. It’s hard to find in the book, but it says use 2 rods at all sites that require it. Then it says 3 rods max for another waters that don’t state that rule. So most rivers and creeks don’t have the 2 rod rule. Thanks for watching as well 👊
@@YoungSuzuki-mf3ty If you have the 2024 fishing Regulation book, On page 12 it says for SITE SPECIFIC SPORTFISHING REGULATIONS no more than 2 poles to fish certain sites. Then from page 13-59 is all the Specific sites, and if you look most say 2 poles Max. If you look at most rivers it doesn't have that rule, usually it just has its size limit for fish only. Now any other rod you use, it looks like you have to have your name and address on that rod. That I didn't know. I Also, Just read someone was fishing the Kaskaskia River with 2 other people on a boat, and each had 20 rods out. They just had to put name and address on every rod but 2 each. You should do your own research and possibly call a DNR officer just to clarify. I would hate for you to get a violation because of me.
@bananasac634 just talked to Springfield and they said there is actually "No limit" just as long as you have less than 52 hooks or something....forget the number but it was at least several dozen. They said they don't enforce rod limits on the river because the river is not their jurisdiction
