Im 21. I started watching your videos when I was 13. I’ve also kinda felt like I’ve lost myself man, i think the pandemic had alot to do with it especially the price increases on pc components which really got me out of the loop and uninterested in consumer electronics. insane, i am also 21 now as of 3 weeks ago and started watching this guy when i was probably about 13 years old too. his videos kickstarted my obsession with retro gaming (esp ps1 related stuff) and similarly to ghg I too found myself stuck in a bit of a rut these last few years where i feel as though i've lost myself a bit. a recent trip to japan for my 21st has put me back on the right track though. happy to see this guy starting to upload again :,)

I've been the same way since then. 3 years ago I got diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and everything has changed for me. I've been getting better as time has gone on. I've been trying so hard to get better, and now I think I've finally found stability in my life. I'm glad to see that things are looking up for you too! I do want to say that do not at all feel upset or any sort of regret if this plan of yours doesn't work out! I, and I'm sure many of your subscribers know how difficult mental health is for everyone. Man I remember stumbling across your channel about 8 years ago, and the first video I remember watching was when you supercharged the gateway. I felt like I was stuck in a loop in my life, which included making poor life decisions. After a while, I felt like I needed a way to forget about everything and focus on watching videos on the main thing that made me myself today all the way back when I was about 4-5 years old. Messing around with older tech!! I knew there was plenty of other people who were in to it at the time, but it seemed like nobody knew how to do it all properly like the way you do it like painting logos on side panels for PCs that truly deserved it, giving you're tech a ciggy every now and then when you think they deserved it, you name it man. Since then, I've gotten much better, especially as I broke old and bad habits and continued doing what I do best in life, while at the same time waiting for more videos to be uploaded by you. And here I am today, still standing strong and getting much better as time passes on, and honestly Tim I have you to thank for a lot of it. Keep up the good work man!! I've always loved watching some of the videos on this channel, and I loved the part where your PCs were named after RuneScape villages and kingdoms. That concept made me name my PCs after mythological dieties like Anubis, Osiris, Hades, Ravana, and the such. I'm excited to see what comes out of this. Anything tech related, especially older tech, just makes me geek out utterly.

I was stuck for a long time myself until about a year and a half ago when I moved into an old house and began working with my hands again to restore it. Glad to have you back. Now, a challenge proposal for you that I hope may be of some inspiration: Get your hands on a VIA Nano Quadcore. Besides one lone, obscure Russian video with no commentary showing a VIA C4650 running Battlefield 4 in 1080p many years ago, not a single tech RUclipsr has covered these obscure offerings from the long-forgotten "Yellow Team". Ironically I've predominantly seen them for sale online in Scandinavia. Best of luck and welcome back

Man… I just saw this pop up, thank god I’m subscribed. I only recently found you again after always pondering over the years “who was that guy that played lone digger with the smoking computers” 😂 I finally remembered the name one day, it just came to me and god damn I’m so glad I did. I have my own baby in my shed and I haven’t used it in about 2 years. A nice big Trinitron, but I powered it on to use it one day a few weeks ago, walked away to make a cup of tea and came back to nothing. Presumed the Super Nintendo died on me, nope, the TV itself died in the time that I walked away. Haven’t been able to figure it out and I’m devastated because I got it for free off a pub owner who was renovating after I fixed his laptop for him. It's been a while Tim. You've popped in my head a couple of times over the last few months as I've dusted off this old 20 inch Sanyo with component input that's been slumbering in my attic for several years (it's no trinitron, lol). I also decided to soup up my old ps2 with games on an internal hdd and freemcboot. It's fun to play the old games again on real hardware with a CRT. It's such a strange but comforting feeling, the simplicity of a time when games just worked and you didn't care how pretty they looked. Glad to see you rediscovering some passion for your long time hobbies as I recently have and I hope this new chapter brings some awesome times with interesting tech and likely some feels. You've been one of the culprits I went full into PC gaming as I was just a teenager. Back into 2015 I traded a broken PS3 for a Core 2 Quad PC with no iGPU, and then I added a cheap GTX 650. I began watching your videos when I was around 8 years old, something about your videos, always stuck with me, and, to be honest, you sparked what became my career in computer hardware. I had had an interest in computers since I was a toddler, and was as good as my parents when using them. Seeing the computers you had constantly butt heads, do things that I never thought they could do. Every time you've uploaded it felt like Christmas morning, and now here you are. I came across your videos in middle school, looking for some direction and I found it in your channel. Now I'm in my 20s in a finding myself-survival phase like you said at the start of the channel. I didn't expect the channel to return. You're your own person, separate from the channel. I expected you to grow with time. But a channel is like an entity in a weird cross section of being ourselves but also not truly being yourself. I didn't expect the channel to grow up alongside me. I would have been excited for GHG to come back even if the channel was exactly how it used to be, it's been one of my favorite channels for years. Seriously, shit's like Christmas. I knew there was plenty of other people who were in to it at the time, but it seemed like nobody knew how to do it all properly like the way you do it like painting logos on side panels for PCs that truly deserved it, giving you're tech a ciggy every now and then when you think they deserved it, you name it man. Since then, I've gotten much better, especially as I broke old and bad habits and continued doing what I do best in life, while at the same time waiting for more videos to be uploaded by you. And here I am today, still standing strong and getting much better as time passes on, and honestly Tim I have you to thank for a lot of it. Keep up the good work man!! I can't wait to see what this channel brings next in the future. 🤘

I starting watching this channel when I was like 15-16? I’m 21 now your videos got me interested in tech as a hobby then a job. Joined the Army as an IT Specialist one more year and I’ll be out of the service 2 more years and I’ll have my bachelors in Cyber Security.

I've always loved watching some of the videos on this channel, and I loved the part where your PCs were named after RuneScape villages and kingdoms. That concept made me name my PCs after mythological dieties like Anubis, Osiris, Hades, Ravana, and the such.

I was stuck for a long time myself until about a year and a half ago when I moved into an old house and began working with my hands again to restore it. Glad to have you back.
Now, a challenge proposal for you that I hope may be of some inspiration: Get your hands on a VIA Nano Quadcore. Besides one lone, obscure Russian video with no commentary showing a VIA C4650 running Battlefield 4 in 1080p many years ago, not a single tech RUclipsr has covered these obscure offerings from the long-forgotten "Yellow Team". Ironically I've predominantly seen them for sale online in Scandinavia.

Man… I just saw this pop up, thank god I’m subscribed. I only recently found you again after always pondering over the years “who was that guy that played lone digger with the smoking computers” 😂 I finally remembered the name one day, it just came to me and god damn I’m so glad I did. I have my own baby in my shed and I haven’t used it in about 2 years. A nice big Trinitron, but I powered it on to use it one day a few weeks ago, walked away to make a cup of tea and came back to nothing. Presumed the Super Nintendo died on me, nope, the TV itself died in the time that I walked away. Haven’t been able to figure it out and I’m devastated because I got it for free off a pub owner who was renovating after I fixed his laptop for him. It's been a while Tim. You've popped in my head a couple of times over the last few months as I've dusted off this old 20 inch Sanyo with component input that's been slumbering in my attic for several years (it's no trinitron, lol). I also decided to soup up my old ps2 with games on an internal hdd and freemcboot.
It's fun to play the old games again on real hardware with a CRT. It's such a strange but comforting feeling, the simplicity of a time when games just worked and you didn't care how pretty they looked.
Glad to see you rediscovering some passion for your long time hobbies as I recently have and I hope this new chapter brings some awesome times with interesting tech and likely some feels. Bless you man!

Back into 2015 I traded a broken PS3 for a Core 2 Quad PC with no iGPU, and then I added a cheap GTX 650. Thanks to your videos I got into the adventure of getting that old Packard Bell and well damn it was one of the best decisions I've ever made!

I came across your videos in middle school, looking for some direction and I found it in your channel. Now I'm in my 20s in a finding myself-survival phase like you said at the start of the channel. I didn't expect the channel to return. You're your own person, separate from the channel. I expected you to grow with time. But a channel is like an entity in a weird cross section of being ourselves but also not truly being yourself. I didn't expect the channel to grow up alongside me. I would have been excited for GHG to come back even if the channel was exactly how it used to be, it's been one of my favorite channels for years. Seriously, shit's like Christmas. But you talking about your personal journey the way you did makes me look forward to the channels return even more.
